Michelle Keegan’s beloved TV show is coming to an end

It has been confirmed that the comedy series “Brassic,” featuring Michelle Keegan on Sky, will conclude with its seventh season.

In a recent announcement for fans, Sky disclosed that filming has started for the seventh season of their hit original comedy series. Additionally, they shared that this will serve as the series finale for the critically acclaimed show.

Danny Brocklehurst, one of the co-creators and writers of “Brassic”, expressed his thoughts about the news as follows: “When Joe Gilgun and I began crafting ‘Brassic’, we never fathomed that we’d produce seven series and amass such a dedicated and affectionate fanbase. This level of success surpasses anything we dared to dream in our wildest imaginations.

Creating this unique realm has been an absolute pleasure, yet as with any great thing, it’s time for us to draw the curtains before the excitement fades. Perhaps now, we might finally receive the recognition in the form of a BAFTA award!

As a representative for Sky stated: “Ever since the series ‘Brassic’ debuted on our channels in 2019, it has proven to be Sky’s most triumphant comedy yet. The audience swiftly developed an affinity for this lively band of friends, as they discovered unique strategies to succeed in suburban life up north.

We’d like to express our gratitude to Joe Gilgun, Danny Brocklehurst, and the entire team behind and in front of the camera – both old and new members – for delivering us an unforgettable series that has captured our hearts with its unique blend of humor and emotion.

For the last season, we have the main characters reprising their roles: Joe Gilgun (who is also a co-creator of the show), Michelle Keegan, Ryan Sampson, Aaron Heffernan, Joanna Higson, Parth Thakerar, and Steve Evets.

The assurance has been given that the series Brassic will conclude spectacularly, offering viewers one final thrilling spree filled with exciting adventures, rowdy antics, and tricks up Vinnie’s sleeve and his team.

Brassic season 7 will launch exclusively on Sky and streaming service NOW later in 2025.
