Over-40s Women Steal the Spotlight: The Gossip and Glamour You Can’t Miss!

Shift aside, Generation Z, as your “Get Ready With Me” videos and amusing TikTok dancers (yawn!) seem to be fading – the true rulers of the social sphere currently are the women over 40 who possess captivating lives, extravagant wardrobes, and physiques reminiscent of ‘Berner’, making them truly regal.

They are having extended lunch gatherings at Totti’s, cruising luxury yachts in the harbor, and flaunting their fashion trends during the Australian Open.

And all the while they’re looking better than women half their age.

Essentially, my main concern isn’t the lipstick that Tammy Hembrow is promoting for a quick-fashion event. Instead, I’m much more curious about who Pip Edwards might be dating during her tanning sessions at Bondi.

Instead of the 20-something traditional wives filling up my feed, I’d much rather have an attractive, mature woman (often referred to as a “cougar”) who has multiple younger admirers.

Here are some well-known women, who, interestingly enough, have quite a few admirers and eager young admirers among their contacts.)

The A-list 

Maria Sprem

To put it straightforwardly, Maria Sprem might not be the ideal companion for a night out if you’re both unattached. The reason being…

Whenever she enters a space, men from as far as a 10-kilometer distance are drawn to her, regardless of their age. It might be hard on one’s pride initially, but upon learning her age, you’ll shift from scowling to applauding instead.

She is fifty years old, but you wouldn’t believe it to see her. There isn’t any Botox on Earth that could make someone appear as youthful as Maria does. She doesn’t simply seem to have taken a taste of the elixir of life; she gives off an impression that she’s submerged herself entirely in it.

Even though I’ve known Maria for quite some time, her profession remains a mystery to me. In simpler terms, we might say she’s always busy and stylish, with a social life that outshines even the most socially active individuals. Yet, she manages to maintain a petite figure, which seems almost unbelievable.

Speaking as someone who might gain 5kg merely by seeing a chicken schnitzel, I must commend you, Maria. Enlighten us on your methods!

In all sincerity, could I kindly ask that you find a partner soon? It would be beneficial for the rest of us to have a fair shot at finding happiness as well. Thank you for your understanding.

With genuine concern, might I suggest that it’s time for you to settle down with someone special? The rest of us could use some competition in the dating scene. Thank you for considering this.

Dina Broadhurst embodies a bold and sensual aesthetic. Her artwork exudes sex appeal, her Instagram posts are tastefully explicit, and her unique fashion style might cause the Golden Girls to experience shock or excitement.

In a vibrant and unconventional style, Dina embodies the peak of elegance at 40. If her fashionable flair sets the trend, we’re more than willing to join in. After mastering a million leg exercises and ab workouts, of course!

Pip Edwards

In simpler terms, the eastern black widow spider, known as Pip Edwards, has often left men spellbound by her charm, only to later consume them as food before moving on to another.

Despite perhaps having mixed feelings towards her, it seems many are still drawn to her social media, emulating her fashion, and even taking her skincare advice as if it were religious teachings.

It’s possible she currently has a boyfriend, yet it’s worth acknowledging that it might not last long. We can’t help but be excited about who she might date in the near future.

In a situation where many men are eager to spend time with her and numerous women admire her beauty, it’s unlikely that she will be leaving soon.

Pip serves as a reminder that we can continue to excel past our twenties. Here’s to many more of us maturing gracefully, much like a wine inspired by the style of Edward.

Bec Judd

When she isn’t tackling crime in Bayside or criticizing local officials, Bec Judd spends her time mothering four children, managing a business, and always appearing at events as if she’s freshly walked off the catwalk.

Indeed, while some might attribute it to Ozempic, it’s clear that Bec had an exceptionally remarkable physique well before such innovations even existed.

Back in the day, I recall crossing paths with her in the corridors of Channel Nine, and let me tell you, she hasn’t shown a single sign of aging since then. Time seems to have skipped over her gracefully.

It could be the magic of Coachella or, as I envision, some delightful evenings spent with a charming spouse, but there’s definitely something keeping that lady youthful, and I’m curious to find out what secret she has!

Jackie O

Jackie O radiates an undeniable charm that could easily win her the title of “most stunning transformation” if such an award existed.

She demonstrates that going through a divorce, along with a temporary stay in a rehabilitation center, can significantly improve one’s complexion, physical well-being, and overall perspective on life.

To be frank, I’m genuinely puzzled: She manages a morning talk show at ungodly hours, maintains her social circle in Sydney without resorting to cocktails, and graces the GQ Awards looking as fresh as a flower – it seems almost superhuman!

Because while these young individuals are constantly complaining about their busy schedules (I really appreciate you, Abbie, and I love you dearly, but maybe you could take a cue from Jackie), this woman is spending her awake moments indulging in as much amusement as possible – all the while earning a respectable income.

In other words, she is my number one choice. I’m crossing my fingers that her romantic experiences in 2025 become more exciting, and we see many photos of her enjoying lavish dates in various parts of the city.

Jac, it seems you’ve served your period of observation. Now, it might be a good time for you to increase your accomplishments and experience more adventures in life.

Jac, after spending some time observing from the sidelines, perhaps it’s now appropriate for you to add to your achievements and indulge in new experiences.

Carrie Bickmore

Here’s another one who deserves an award for best glow-up! 

It seems like she attended the Logie Awards, right? Frankly, it’s astonishing how well she carries herself in her forties. I mean, nobody should look that fabulous! (A big shoutout goes to her makeup artist Max May for transforming this ordinary school mom into a total beauty queen!)

After encountering some unusual situations with my former partner, I can certainly empathize with her newfound energy following their separation – however, let’s save that tale for another occasion!

Here’s to watching Carrie just get hotter in 2025 – you love to see it. 

Sonia Kruger

Australia’s equivalent to Jane Fonda continues to improve her physique with age, maintaining a toned and radiant appearance over time.

As time passes, Australia’s counterpart to Jane Fonda remains in top physical form, consistently looking more fit and firm both facially and bodily.

Through fitness videos, beauty product lines, and significant television presenting tasks, Sonia demonstrates that age shouldn’t hinder one from staying active and vibrant.

Tina Sparkle is doing just that, still sparkling (and cha cha cha-ing) well into her 50s. 

The B-list 

Laura Csortan

To clarify: One of my closest friends is Laura Csortan, who was once Miss Universe Australia, a dedicated single mother, and also the titleholder of Miss Legs Eleven.

Here’s my take: I must confess, being around her feels like a never-ending comedy show! The way guys transform into jesters whenever she’s nearby is simply priceless – it’s as if I’m watching men morph into monkeys, and the hilarity that ensues never ceases to amuse me!

What about these Direct Messages (DMs)? They’re quite a goldmine! To avoid any potential issues, I’ll put it this way: Some of the names in there are quite recognizable – you might think of athletes, reality TV personalities, and the influential figures from Bondi.

However, it’s not just Laura’s male counterparts that set her apart. She has perfected the skill of thriving in her 40s – seamlessly juggling single parenthood of her daughter with an effortless elegance that makes it appear as if she’s just stepped out of a magazine spread. Her aura exudes an irresistible ‘I dare you to keep up’ energy, and the fortunate man who does will undoubtedly consider himself quite lucky.

Alex Pike

Alex Pike is proof that Benjamin Button’s reverse ageing might just be a real thing.

In her mid-40s, the woman appears as if she has found a secret elixir of youth, yet she generously shares her secrets in her podcast. (Hint: It’s not really a secret – it involves Botox and abstaining from alcohol).

It’s clear that Nathan Buckley made a misstep in this instance. While he seems to have returned to the younger segment of the dating scene, it appears that Alex is still flourishing, on both a personal and professional level.

She not only stands as a highly sought-after cosmetic nurse in Australia, but she has successfully nurtured three outstanding young men as well. Kudos to her!

Elsa Pataky

After multiple encounters with Elsa Pataky at various red carpet events, I can attest that she is strikingly attractive in person.

How do her cheekbones stay that high well into her 40s? Seriously, when does gravity kick in?

Elsa, Chris Hemsworth’s wife, demonstrates that age isn’t everything, and truth be told, she might be the only woman on Earth who can outmatch her younger husband in terms of glamour at the Met Gala. Notably, unlike Hilaria Baldwin’s unfortunate try at a fake Spanish accent, Elsa’s genuine seductive tone is entirely authentic.

As a passionate enthusiast, I find myself constantly inspired by her vibrant lifestyle. From galloping horses along the sandy shores, catching waves with her cherished children, to strutting confidently at Byron Bay’s hottest hotspots – she effortlessly outshines us all. Being eight years her junior, merely contemplating her daily routine leaves me in dire need of a rejuvenating rest!

As for her squad, Matt Damon’s wife Luciana Barroso and Isla Fisher are both quite charming. I’d much rather have a leisurely lunch at Rae’s on Wategos with these two captivating ladies instead of attending a superficial influencer event in Bondi any day.

If Chris and Elsa should want a unicorn as a new roommate, I’m more than ready to make myself available. In other words, if such an opportunity arises, count me in!

Lindy Klim

Lindy Klim is the person you want to be sat next to at lunch. 

She possesses an exceptionally witty, mischievous sense of humor. She enjoys sharing martinis late into the night and, remarkably, manages to look as if she’s just plucked from a garden (fresh as a daisy) despite the previous night’s festivities. Her endurance and vitality are akin to that of a 20-year-old.

Among the socialites I admire, the authentic Balinese princess stands out as my favorite, undeniably providing the most captivating entertainment in any gathering she graces.

Sam Armytage 

Last year, she was giving country chic; this year, I want to see her giving city va-va-voom. 

Indeed, the actress who previously dated Cam from Modern Family might provide us with a potentially more captivating gentleman for lunchtime chatter this year.

Why not a handsome crim just for the plot twist, Sam?

In my professional opinion, Sam boasts the radiant, youthful complexion of a teen and the captivating physique reminiscent of a glamorous vixen. This year, let’s watch as she elevates her status by refining her wardrobe to match the A-list elite. The spotlight is shining brightly on Sam!

Kyly Clarke

She’s a MILF who never needed a revenge body post-divorce, because she already had one! 

Her toned body from regular gym workouts and striking beauty make her appear far more impressive compared to Clarkey’s newest girlfriends, even those who are young.

Here’s to seeing her on more red carpets and social events this year.

Honourable mentions 

Christine Centenera, 41

In her 30s, she was quite notable, but Christine Centenera transitioned into a true powerhouse in the world of fashion during her 40s.

As a devoted admirer, I could say that she’s been responsible for the chic ensembles gracing the red carpets of top celebrities, shared the limelight with a notable Hollywood actor by becoming a parent together, and, as an editor, is meticulously steering Australian Vogue away from its slump.

Christine exudes an unmatched elegance, as if she’s freshly returned from a luxurious trip on a first-class flight from the United States, effortlessly capturing stylish snapshots.

Candice Warner

One more person I’ve added to my “favorites” list. There isn’t anyone else I’d prefer to share a gin and tonic (or several) with, discussing and brainstorming solutions for global issues together.

At age 39, she received an honorable mention, and I eagerly anticipate how radiant and fabulous she’ll appear as she turns 40. What a fantastic celebration that promises to be! She doesn’t let loose frequently, but with the right atmosphere, she can dance on tables until dawn with you – all while her husband Dave, the cheerleader, supplies the drinks.

This woman maintains a small group of close friends, yet if you become part of that group, she will stand by your side unwaveringly, for as long as necessary.

Her captivating lifestyle filled with globe-trotting adventures, straightforward personality, and playful wit earn her a spot among the most intriguing females in Australia. However, it’s best to keep quiet when sports are airing on television – she won’t hesitate to silence you!

Julie Bishop, 67

Julie has traded Parliament House for the first-row seats at Fashion Week, and at 67 years old, she’s teaching the younger women a thing or two about owning a space with confidence and elegance.

I might end up in a spot of bother, but I can’t help thinking that if only she had some Botox injections, she could preserve her appearance as youthful as her fashion sense. However, I must give Julie credit for maintaining her natural look and not spending a fortune on laser treatments like many others do. She wears her age gracefully, girlfriend.

In this version, the tone remains light-hearted and the meaning is clear while using more common, everyday language.

In my opinion, having the energy to handle Fashion Week as well as commenting on some of the globe’s most significant political issues will forever make Julie a star in my eyes.

We love our hotties with brains instead of brawn, and she’s the leader of the pack. 

Hollie Nasser, 39

Indeed, she’s among my closest friends, and I appreciate your thoughts but won’t entertain criticism regarding this matter. After all, it’s my decision! Furthermore, there’s no denying that Hollie Nasser is undeniably captivating and intriguing, making her one of the most striking figures in the current scene. If you’d like to share your opinions, feel free to do so elsewhere.

She resembles a fashionable and realistic Barbie, devoid of excessive plasticity, she’s an ideal party companion, and her upcoming 40th birthday celebration promises to be a grand affair, so lavish it might bring tears to the eyes of Gatsby.

However, it’s important to remember that Hollie isn’t your typical socialite; instead, she’s an exceptionally astute psychologist with the ability to decipher people as if they were pages in a book.

Her aura is captivating. While her past may have some questionable moments, isn’t it more fulfilling to reflect on life knowing one has lived rather than regretting not having lived enough?

She’s lived a life, and is all the more interesting for it. 

Sophie Monk

In more casual, friendly terms: Our beloved, charmingly outgoing character, who everyone adores, seems to be less active lately, yet she’s still worthy of recognition on our list, even during what appears to be her secluded phase.

I long for the times when she was frequently spotted in romantic moments with footballers and cosmetic doctors, yet I wish her a contented forever-happiness with her spouse. Even if it results in fewer public appearances from her, and we now mainly catch glimpses of her at rare events on the red carpet.

We’ll take what we can get from this hilarious broad with no filter.
