Celebrity Homes Under Siege: Mary Fitzgerald and Romain Bonnet Fall Victim to Burglary!

As a devoted observer, I can’t help but notice that Mary Fitzgerald and Romain Bonnet from Selling Sunset have recently become unfortunate victims of a growing trend of residential burglaries in Los Angeles.

The previous week, their house was intruded upon by thieves in a sequence of well-known burglaries. The thieves managed to enter through an unsecured door during the nighttime hours.

Approximately $130,000 worth of personal items are said to have been taken from the shared residence of Mary (age 44) and Romain (age 31), as reported by TMZ.

Some of their prized possessions stolen included jewelry and handbags from their house.

At the moment of the break-in, it wasn’t where they usually reside that the reality TV stars were found; however, their security cameras managed to document the intrusion.

No suspects have been arrested yet, however, the investigation remains ongoing, per the outlet. 

Earlier this very month, I found myself faced with yet another vexing predicament, and being human, I turned to my digital platform of choice – social media – to let off some steam about the ordeal.

On January 11th, her harshly worded statement revealed her fury when she was obligated to occupy an economy seat due to the airline’s overbooking of the flight.

She declared that she would no longer fly with American Airlines, as she was relocated to economy class even though she had purchased a business class ticket.

Mary, who got married privately in a civil union ceremony back in March 2018, is among the most recent famous individuals experiencing break-ins in the broader Los Angeles region over the past few months.

Last year, a number of celebrities were victims of burglaries and heists. 

Alongside several other individuals, Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Sarah Hyland, Sophia Bush, and Jessie J., experienced break-ins at their respective residences.

At the end of December, it turned out that Simu Liu, a star from Marvel, had his residence broken into as well, luckily he was not present during the burglary.

In my role as a diligent follower, I can confirm that during the renovation process of my Los Angeles property, there was apparently no valuable item worth taking.

During the summer season, a farmhouse worth $5.3 million belonging to Marlon Wayans, located in the San Fernando Valley, became the target of thieves.

In October, Jessie J unfortunately became a victim of a series of burglaries that were focused on affluent individuals living around the Greater Los Angeles region.

More than $20,000 in jewelry was stolen from her Southern California mansion. 

In August, it was likewise verified that the coastal property in Pacific Palisades shared by Hanks and Wilson was illegally entered when they were away from home.

Bhad Bhabie and Sarah Hyland also had their homes broken into this past summer. 

Burglars broke into and stole approximately $1 million worth of items from the residence of model Daniela Braga, who is known for her work with Victoria’s Secret.

Additionally, a number of athletes also had their homes burglarized in 2024. 

In October, star players Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs, as well as Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, have recently fallen victim to burglaries at their homes.

After that confirmation, the FBI has cautioned U.S. sports leagues with a formal alert, as they’ve identified at least nine professional athletes who have fallen victim to burglaries carried out by organized crime syndicates.
