Paris Hilton Adopts Dog She’s Been Caring for Since LA Fires

Paris Hilton has pledged to adopt a dog she has been caring for since the Los Angeles fires.

43-year-old high society figure graciously welcomed a dog named Zuzu into her primary residence. Prior to this, Zuzu had been under the care of the Pasadena Humane Society due to his previous owners losing their home in the destructive southern California wildfires.

As reported by the hotel heiress, the Chihuahua mix has assimilated seamlessly into their home and will now be a permanent resident.

On Monday, Paris (who lost her Malibu residence in the fire) informed TMZ: “His family was forced to give him up due to losing their Altadena home in the destructive Eaton Fire.

Over the past week, I took care of him, and it turns out that everyone has grown quite fond of him. As a result, we have decided to officially make him part of our family by adopting him.

The singer from “The Stars Are Blind” urged others to lend a hand in caring for animals forced out of their homes due to the fires.

She mentioned: ‘For anyone able to link up with the Humane Society in Pasadena, there are numerous animal shelters where you can volunteer, foster, and find yourself smitten by these stunning creatures. They truly deserve loving homes, and everyone has the ability to contribute in some manner.’

Only a few hours ago, the celebrity posted on her Instagram story hinting that her two-year-old son, Phoenix, has been enjoying some quality time with their latest pet addition. She even shared snapshots of their playtime in her home’s living area.

Last week, the celebrity disclosed through social media that she had chosen to give a small dog a home. She posted pictures of them together, encouraging her fans to consider fostering animals in need.

She titled the series of photos: “We had a heartwarming experience at @PasadenaHumane, where their tireless efforts to save animal lives truly touched us. I’m incredibly thankful that we can offer a temporary home to Zuzu, our new foster, whose family was forced to give her up due to their house being destroyed in the wildfires.

Supporting the cause of fostering animals is truly beneficial. If it’s possible for you, kindly think about offering a temporary or long-term home to animals in need.

Friends of the heiress, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, unfortunately lost their home in the fires, but they’ve experienced a turnaround in their financial situation. This has been thanks to generating income from TikTok videos and an increase in streaming for some of Heidi’s older music.

Additionally, Paris, along with her husband Carter Reum, for 14 months and also sharing time with London, hinted that she might be willing to join forces musically with her friends for a potential collaboration.

In response to the question about a duet with Heidi, she expressed enthusiasm by saying: “That sounds like fun! I’m sending so much love. I’m truly heartbroken for them and what they’re going through, but it’s incredible to see everyone rallying behind her and her music. I’m really proud of her.

The television personality remained silent when questioned about the possibility of her performing as a DJ at the upcoming FireAid charity event in Inglewood, California towards the end of this month.

She expressed: I’m eagerly anticipating that event; it promises to be fantastic. Let’s wait and find out what unfolds. The sight of all the devastation in California is truly disheartening, affecting both people and their beloved pets. It’s heart-wrenching to witness such tragedy.

Previously known as the star of “The Simple Life,” she hesitated to commit when questioned about whether she intends to reconstruct her Malibu house, which was damaged by fire.

She said: ‘Carter will be dealing with all that.’

For approximately four years, Paris and her spouse, Carter Reum (aged 43), had owned the house. Unfortunately, that same residence was devastated by the Palisades Fire within the past few weeks.

Back in June 2021, as reported by Realtor.com, the pair acquired a spacious, three-bedroom beachfront property measuring approximately 3,000 square feet for a price tag of $8.4 million.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been diligently working on building my financial resilience, and that includes launching an emergency fund. Lately, my heart has been heavy with the ongoing wildfires affecting many lives. In solidarity and support, I’ve made a donation of $100,000 to aid those in need.
