Genshin Impact Version 5.3 Chronicled Banner Details
At the “Remembrance of Jade and Stone” occasion, you’re allowed to choose and customize a path for your favorite 5-star character. Exclusive to this event, the following 5-star characters are up for grabs:
1. Character A
2. Character B
3. Character C
4. Character D
5. Character E
If players fail in the 50/50 draw, they’ll receive either Keqing (Electro) or Qiqi (Cryo). Furthermore, characters from Liyue with a 4-star rarity, such as Yaoyao, Yun Jin, Yanfei, Xinyan, Chongyun, Ningguang, Xingqiu, Beidou, and Xiangling, can be obtained in the featured banners.
If you don’t win in the 50/50 game, you will get either Keqing or Qiqi. The characters from Liyue that have a 4-star rating (like Yaoyao, Yun Jin, Yanfei, Xinyan, Chongyun, Ningguang, Xingqiu, Beidou, and Xiangling) can be found in the special banners.
Genshin Impact Version 5.3 Chronicled Banner: Who Should You Pull
1. Baizhu
In the current game meta, Baizhu is a top choice for character acquisition thanks to his versatility as both a Dendro defender and healer. His knack for consistently triggering Dendro effects makes him an essential pick in teams that leverage Dendro reactions such as Bloom, Hyperbloom, or Quicken.
Although his shield isn’t as robust as Zhongli’s, it offers reasonable protection and can be beneficial in specific scenarios. His healing abilities ensure team durability in challenging content. Given that Dendro is currently ruling the meta, Baizhu offers exceptional worth to any roster.
2. Tartaglia (Childe)
Although Tartaglia is categorized as a “release character,” he continues to hold significant importance, particularly as a Hydro Damage Dealer. His area of effect (AoE) damage is exceptional, making him crucial for teams that utilize either the Vaporize or Bloom mechanisms. The ease with which he can be built, even for free-to-play players, adds to his appeal, making him accessible to most gamers. Tartaglia’s compatibility with potent support units ensures that his teams excel in challenging endgame content, solidifying his reputation as a dependable and versatile damage dealer.
3. Xiao
Xiao functions as a highly damaging Anemo Damage Per Second (DPS) character, dishing out substantial damage with each plunge attack at the expense of his Health Points (HP). However, despite his high damage output, he has been overshadowed by more recent Anemo DPS options and requires frequent healing or shielding to compensate for his HP depletion.
As a devotee of Xiao, I’ve found that he thrives best when backed by sturdy allies like Zhongli or healers, as his self-inflicted damage can be quite challenging. Despite this, he’s not quite on par with other DPS characters in terms of adaptability and utility within the present meta.
4. Ganyu
Ganyu is a character who specializes in dealing damage with her charged shots, making her excellent for both single target and area-of-effect situations. However, the Cryo element as a whole has lost favor in the current meta, particularly as Freeze teams have become less popular compared to those based on Dendro reactions. Previously top-tier compositions that involved Ganyu’s Freeze team are now considered lackluster in endgame content. While Ganyu can still perform well in certain situations, she doesn’t offer the overall effectiveness and versatility of other characters.
5. Shenhe
Shenhe is a character who amplifies the damage output of characters dealing Cryo damage, but her unique abilities make her less desirable to pull in the current game meta. As the use of Cryo characters has decreased, Shenhe’s role is primarily limited to enhancing teams that include other Cryo characters, which are no longer as prominent. Despite her beautiful design and potent buffs in certain scenarios, Shenhe’s usefulness hinges entirely on having a strong Cryo damage dealer like Ayaka or Ganyu, making her a less sought-after choice for many players.
