Sarah Harris Shocks Co-Stars with Shocking ‘Wee’ Confession on The Project
On Tuesday evening, I left The Project audience spellbound with an unexpected revelation about my bathroom habits – a confession that left quite an impact.
Or, more casually:
On Tuesday night, I dropped a bombshell on the viewers of The Project – a surprising admission about my personal routines that caused quite a stir.
The television host, aged 43, astonished her fellow hosts with the disclosure that she had once used the South Bank public Boat Pool in Brisbane as a restroom.
She openly acknowledged that everyone urinates at the swimming pool, a spacious public lagoon, and left her coworkers stunned when she admitted to participating in the same act as well.
Her confession was made during a discussion focusing on the American musician FINNEAS, who recently expressed bewilderment over why residents of Brisbane appear to dislike South Bank.
Kate Langbroek hypothesized that the local population might hold a negative opinion due to whispers that the well-known South Bank Boat Pool could contain urine.
‘Everyone wees at South Bank,’ Sarah quickly cut in. ‘I’ve weed at South Bank.’
Initially taken aback, co-hosts Sam Taunton and Waleed Aly were shocked by the unexpected admission, whereas Kate, aged 59, tried to downplay the situation.
As a committed observer, I might put it this way: “I’m referring to an expansive water mass. Comparably, it’s as if one were to suggest that people urinate in the sea. Yet, this act remains devoid of direct harm to any entity, much like what I was expressing.
Yet, Sam was still taken aback by Sarah’s restroom routines, as he exclaimed: “Couldn’t we return now? You urinated in the pool at South Bank?
‘Yeah. It was a long time ago,’ Sarah responded defensively.
The surprising disclosure was made following Sarah explaining her reason for not opting for thong bikinis, as she contributed to the ongoing discussion regarding the provocative swimsuit style.
On The Project, the TV host openly shared her personal views about the controversial beachwear piece, as they delved into the topic of its ban in several swimming pools.
Blue Mountains Leisure Centres, a division of the Blue Mountains City Council, faced criticism when they stated that thong-style swimwear, specifically G-strings, are considered inappropriate at their facilities.
As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’d like to address the ongoing debate about beachwear. While I respect and support everyone’s choice to don a thong bikini, personally, I have chosen to steer clear of this style. Here’s why:
For me, comfort takes precedence over fashion when it comes to my beach attire. The thong style, while popular, doesn’t offer the level of comfort I crave during a long day at the beach. Instead, I opt for more comfortable, fuller-coverage styles that allow me to enjoy the sun, sand, and surf without any discomfort.
However, this is purely a personal preference, and I encourage everyone to wear whatever makes them feel most confident and comfortable on the beach. After all, the beach is a place of self-expression and relaxation!
She joked, saying, “I wish I could sport them! It seems my behind resembles a trash bag full of cottage cheese. However, if one has it, why not show it off?
Sarah, mother to Paul, aged 7, and Harry, aged 5 (who she had with her former spouse Tom Ward), defended herself against those criticizing the notion that G-string bikinis lack a family-friendly atmosphere.
Many people have commented, “Will the children find this appropriate?” She mentioned that she spends plenty of time at the beach with her kids, but they are not concerned about it.
Co-host Georgie Tunny echoed her feelings, expressing surprise at the resistance some people show towards thong swimwear.
She expressed indifference by saying, “I honestly don’t pay much attention to what others choose to wear. If someone feels comfortable and self-assured in their outfit, I’m delighted for them. In a way, I wish I could be as confident as all of you.
Swimsuits featuring a G-string design were prohibited at Katoomba Sports & Aquatic Centre, Springwood Aquatic & Fitness Centre, Blackheath Pool, and Glenbrook Swim Centre, all located within the Blue Mountains region.
According to the rules at the BMLC, it is advised that patrons clean up with a good shower before they jump into the pool, and appropriate swimming attire should be worn.
‘Recognised swimwear does not include G-strings,’ the conditions add.
The council found itself needing to clarify its intentions when people using the pool area spotted a rule forbidding ‘transparent swimming attire or briefs,’ causing a bit of controversy.
The council subsequently made it clear online: ‘The picture labeled as “Revealing Swimwear/Thongs” may have caused some confusion; it is depicting thongs (underwear) rather than bikini tops and bottoms.’
‘Bikinis are acceptable and considered recognised swimwear.’
Many residents found the prohibition of a well-liked type of swimming attire puzzling, leading to some heated opposition.
One person suggested, “It’s more appropriate for people to visit the pool to swim, rather than to concern themselves with others’ attire.
Maybe it would be better if the one who has concerns about someone else’s clothing choices is the one to address it, rather than the children wearing them,” another local suggested.
Youth tend to follow the latest trends when it comes to clothing. Here are the current popular styles. If they don’t appeal to you, simply avoid looking.
Instead, a third person advised others to ‘cease preoccupying with or expressing opinions about the appearance or clothing choices of others.’
If a particular swimsuit, like a playful G-string bikini, upsets you, it might be best to avoid wearing such styles yourself and steer clear of looking at others who do wear them instead.
There are many people at the pool whose appearance I’m not comfortable with, but they have every right to be there and dress however they please.
‘This policy is so old fashioned and outdated in my opinion.’
Personally, I concur with those who found no problem with the ban, for there are still plenty of chic and stylish swimwear options available for me to enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool.
The user stated, ‘It seems there’s no issue at hand. I believe people are misunderstanding the situation. They aren’t suggesting to hide or conceal everything.’
As a devoted observer, I can’t help but notice that numerous children delightfully frolic and swim, often unaware of the frequent sight of exposed backsides passing by – a scene I personally find quite amusing rather than ridiculous.
A representative from the Blue Mountains City Council stated that their policy on swimwear remains unchanged.
