Ted Lasso star drops exciting season 4 hint

Nick Mohammed has subtly suggested that the delay in his tour dates might be due to preparations for season 4 of Ted Lasso.

Last week, the actor known for portraying Nate Shelley in the popular Apple TV+ series, shared that he needed to postpone some performances of his “Show Pony” tour on a specific platform.

Under the guise of his alternate persona, Mr. Swallow, Mohammed admitted that there would undoubtedly be much discussion and questioning regarding his decision to change these dates.

As a die-hard fan, I must confess there’s something keeping me tied up, and it’s not just binge-watching my favorite shows. It seems I’ve got some on-screen commitments under wraps, which I can’t reveal yet, but rest assured, the news is coming soon!

While we wait for more information, I kindly ask that folks refrain from guessing or making assumptions about the situation,” he said, displaying a sign with the words “Trust” written on it, an obvious reference to the character Ted Lasso.

As if that wasn’t enough, Ted Lasso is also hashtagged in the caption of Mohammed’s post.

In the year 2023, followers of Ted Lasso were disheartened to learn that the story of Jason Sudeikis’ uplifting soccer coach character would not carry on beyond season 3.

Nevertheless, things shifted last summer as the series edged closer to being granted a fourth installment, contradicting earlier claims by Ted Lasso that the story had reached its conclusion and would not be continued.

Last August, co-creator Bill Lawrence stirred speculation about a potential fourth season, contingent upon whether or not Sudeikis was open to filming additional episodes.

Initially, Warner Bros Television secured the potential contracts for actors like Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift. However, it was yet to be decided if Sudeikis would join the cast.

Ted Lasso is streaming in its entirety on Apple TV+.
