Katie Holmes Bids Farewell to Broadway with Emotional Final Bow in Our Town
On Sunday, before her last show as Myrtle Webb in Our Town on Broadway, Katie Holmes showed off a radiant grin as she confidently struck a pose outside the Barrymore Theatre located in Midtown Manhattan.
46-year-old former star of Dawson’s Creek wore a long black pea coat along with a coordinated top, trousers, and patterned heels.
Katie hauled two tote bags and she wore dark sunglasses over her make-up free complexion.
Holmes expressed heartfelt gratitude for being included in this production, as he got to deliver these lovely lines alongside his preferred cast members.
After several hours had passed, the empty nester gracefully ended her performance during the finale in Kenny Leon’s reprise of Thornton Wilder’s 1938 Pulitzer Prize-winning Broadway play.

As a passionate actor, I embarked on my latest professional acting venture with Our Town, following my captivating role as Julia Cheever in Wanderers, a play by Roundabout Theatre Company that ran from January 26 to April 2, 2023 at the Laura Pels Theatre in Manhattan.
Previously, Holmes has appeared in two plays produced by The Shubert Organization on Broadway. In 2008-2009, he acted in Arthur Miller’s “All My Sons” at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, and from 2012 to 2013, he starred in Theresa Rebeck’s comedy “Dead Accounts” at the Music Box Theatre.
Born in Ohio, this stunning actress is working on multiple screenplays and has been cast in Dito Montiel’s thriller “Captivated” alongside Al Pacino. Additionally, she will make a guest appearance in the second season of Peacock’s mystery series “Poker Face,” which is spearheaded by Natasha Lyonne.
On a personal note, Suri Noelle, Katie’s daughter, is currently navigating through her first year at Carnegie Mellon University located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The eighteen-year-old singer chose to use a name other than Cruise, her famous father Tom Cruise’s surname. However, it’s said that he continues to cover her yearly tuition fees, along with medical, dental, and insurance costs, even though they haven’t been seen together publicly since his divorce from Holmes in 2012.
