Carol Decker Speaks Out After Masked Singer ‘Robbery’

In simpler terms, we can say that Carol Decker has spoken up following her reveal as Tattoo during the latest episode of The Masked Singer UK.

67-year-old singer, known from the band T’Pau during the 80s, expressed disappointment upon being eliminated following her unmasking in an interview with host Joel Dommett, stating she felt “really sad” or “extremely disappointed.

On a Saturday evening, following the airing of the show, I couldn’t help but take to Instagram, ecstatically sharing a video of myself, my face concealed by a makeshift cardboard box, captivated before the glowing screen.

In the backdrop, an episode of The Masked Singer played on the screen while Carol mimicked her reveal by taking off the mask from her head.

The amusing video was posted mere minutes prior, followed by Carol backing up her assertion that she had been wronged, as she reposted a message from one of her fans.

The reposted message read: ‘Mind blown and you were robbed!’

On Saturday’s show titled “Tattoo”, “Teeth”, “Kingfisher”, “Dressed Crab”, and “Snail” made an appearance, subtly revealing clues about who they really are.

The judges eagerly pieced together the clues, trying to figure out who might be behind the masks.

After that, the audience in the studio selected only two characters – Tattoo and Dressed Crab – for a musical competition against each other. This left the original trio of contestants secure for another week without any immediate threat.

Dressed Crab performed Drift Away by Dobie Gray, while Tattoo sang Proud Mary by Tina Turner.

The judges then chose to save Dressed Crab, meaning Tattoo’s time on the show had come to an end.

Prior to the grand unveiling, the judges shared their last predictions. Jonathan Ross hinted that it could potentially be Rachel White, Mo Gilligan believed Danny Minogue was a strong contender, Davina McCall speculated Nicole Appleton might be the one, Maya Jama went with Lacey Turner, and Tom Daley guessed Kim Marsh.

Thrilled beyond words, I found myself standing among a sea of ecstatic fans as the moment arrived – the grand reveal. And there she was, none other than the legendary Carol Decker from the ’80s, stepping out from behind the mask to the thunderous applause and cheers that echoed around us!

Carol gained fame primarily for her role as the main singer of the popular ’80s and ’90s pop group, T’Pau, a band that achieved significant global acclaim.

Fans quickly took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their reactions to the big reveal.

* I know Kym Marsh/Carol Decker, so I’m somewhat skilled at this;
* Wow, Carol Decker was impressive!

‘I would never have said Carol Decker,’; ‘Wow Tattoo was Carol Decker!’

So far there have been a number of celebrities who have been voted off the show.

Macy Gray was revealed as Toad in the Hole, while Pegasus was Prue Leith.

In a surprising reveal, it turned out that Kate Garraway was hidden under the identity of Spag Bol, while athlete Mo Farrah was unveiled as the one inside the Giant Joel costume.

Audience members are still attempting to identify the characters known as Bear, Bush, Dressed Crab, Kingfisher, Pufferfish, Snail, Tattoo, Teeth, and Wolf.

After Macy Gray declined all post-show interviews following her elimination from The Masked Singer, this detail has been made public.

On Saturday, the most recent celebrity to be unveiled on the ITV program turned out to be none other than the soul singer from the U.S., aged 57 years old, who was the enigmatic Toad In The Hole character in disguise.

Yet, prior to Macy being unveiled, she exited the stage upon host Joel Dommett disclosing the unfortunate fact that she needed to depart.

Following my unexpected exit from the show, I chose not to engage with ITV’s queries that are typically sent to contestants after their elimination, as reported by The Mirror. This decision was about taking a moment for myself and focusing on the lessons learned from this experience.

According to reports, it’s usual for celebrities to respond to questions in a Q&A organized by ITV. However, Macy opted not to participate in this particular instance.

This incident, which is extremely rare for the series, underscores just how dissatisfied she must have been following the show.

The Masked Singer airs on Saturday on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
