Ben Affleck Gets a Security Dog After Kamala Harris’ Home Burglary Scare!
Ben Affleck has added a new member to his household — a security dog.
52-year-old actor was accompanied by his 12-year-old son, Sam, during their stroll with their black-and-brown German Shepherd pet in the Brentwood neighborhood where they reside, which occurred last Friday.
Father and son were accompanied by two trainers from Trident Elite Protection Dogs.
The individual who won an Oscar appeared carefree, donning a cardigan sweater in shades of gray and white atop a white dress shirt and tan trousers.
He wore brown shoes and his hair and beard were neatly trimmed.
Sam appeared comfortable, sporting a pair of green-and-black checkered pajama trousers, a black t-shirt, and a casual set of gray footwear.
The young pupil at the primary school appeared thrilled as he managed the dog, holding onto a leash that was bright orange and black.
In contrast to some areas on the western side of Los Angeles, the neighborhood where Affleck resides in LA’s affluent Tony district managed to avoid the destruction caused by the Palisades fire.
Earlier this week, it was noticed that law enforcement personnel and FBI agents had been spotted around the location. It’s said they were on the hunt for the individual who piloted a drone that crashed into an aircraft dropping water to extinguish the fire.
No one has been arrested for that incident.
On Thursday, National Guard members were deployed in the local area, accompanied by a substantial military Humvee.
It appears that Affleck’s residence might be close to the boundary of the evacuation area, which may explain the increased security presence around his house.
According to KTLA’s latest update, it appears that Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, reside in the neighborhood. Early Sunday morning, at around 4:40 a.m., police responded to a potential burglary call at their home. Upon arrival, they found and detained two individuals for violating the curfew. These individuals were later released.
As reported by Page Six, Harris and her spouse have chosen to make their residence in California their primary dwelling place, starting from Monday, January 20, when she will vacate office.
It appears Affleck will be staying close to home in the coming weeks.
The upcoming movie titled “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” featuring his former spouse, Jennifer Lopez, is set to premiere the following weekend at the Sundance Film Festival.
Affleck, who is a producer on the film, will not be attending.
Earlier this month, a source shared with Daily Mail that the artist, filmmaker, and producer was choosing to avoid attending events due to concerns that his presence might shift attention from his creative work to his personal interactions with his former partner instead.
