Our team at GamingonPhone was fortunate enough to interview Mr. Chase Xu, the Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of realme, who shared insights about their collaboration with KRAFTON India, joint research and development initiatives, as well as other intriguing details. In simpler terms, they’re working closely together on new hardware and software advancements. This means the gaming phones from Realme, like the realme GT 7 Pro, will be specifically tailored for top-notch gameplay experiences of KRAFTON’s games, such as Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). The collaboration also involves exclusive debugging and testing to ensure these devices perform optimally in competitive esports.
Beyond this, we’ve established an internal team made up of R&D specialists, marketing professionals, and product experts. This team is collaborating closely with KRAFTON India to explore the frontiers of mobile gaming technology. He emphasized that both companies aim to transform mobile gaming by providing smooth, top-tier gaming experiences and fostering future innovations within India’s esports scene.
realme’s vision for next-gen esports athletes
According to Xu, we’re creating an extensive platform that covers game-oriented product development, collaboration, and enhancement for widely played games such as BGMI. He also mentions that by providing powerful devices at affordable costs, realme is expanding the reach of gaming to a larger group of people.
He also mentions that continued investment in esports facilities and grassroots programs is essential for cultivating new talent. When queried about potential future collaborations, he affirmed, “Absolutely, we are intending to work more closely with gaming companies and creators in the upcoming period.” He elaborated that these alliances would provide Realme with crucial knowledge about the gaming sector, enabling them to create products specifically designed for gamers’ unique requirements.
Beyond this, we plan to arrange gaming tournaments as well, which would help boost the esports sector and cultivate budding talent. He emphasized that such partnerships are crucial for improving our gaming portfolio and increasing Realme’s influence within the esports community.
