Mel Gibson Surprised by Trump’s Special Envoy Appointment through Social Media

Mel Gibson learned about his position as a special envoy to Hollywood for President-elect Donald Trump through social networking platforms.

In an unexpected social media post on Thursday, Trump designated Gibson (age 69), Voight (84), and Stallone (78) – three well-known figures – as ‘Specialized Representatives’ for the challenging yet remarkable location of Hollywood, California, which we know as Hollywood.

1. “These three incredibly skilled individuals will serve as my guide and advisors, ensuring that I follow their recommendations. It’s going to feel like a new golden era, reminiscent of the glory days of Hollywood!”

3. “With these three exceptionally talented individuals by my side, I’ll rely on their advice to achieve our goals. It will be a renaissance, akin to the golden age of Hollywood!”

4. “These three extraordinary individuals will provide me with valuable insights and guidance, paving the way for success. We’re stepping into an era that mirrors the golden age of Hollywood in its brilliance!”

5. “My three incredibly skilled partners will offer wise counsel, ensuring our path to success. It’s going to feel like we’ve stepped back into the golden age of Hollywood!”

6. “These three exceptionally talented professionals will guide us, and I trust their judgment. We’re embarking on a journey that echoes the grandeur of the Hollywood golden age!”

Surprised by the tweet like everyone else, Gibson, who’s recently lost his Malibu home in the Palisades fire, issued a fresh statement, expressing: “I found out about it at the same moment, and I was equally taken aback.

Regardless, I’m ready to respond. As a citizen, it’s my responsibility to offer assistance and share knowledge whenever possible. By any chance, does the role include an Ambassador’s residence?

2006 saw Gibson facing an unofficial Hollywood ban due to an anti-Semitic controversy. However, he made news again by attending Trump’s Mar-a-Lago in December.

At the Champions For America Celebration Gala, organized by America’s Future under the leadership of General Michael Flynn, Flynn addressed the audience discussing the initiatives taken by him and his sister Mary O’Neill against human trafficking.

Gibson commended the siblings for unmasking those cunning wolves disguised as harmless sheep, who prey on our youth.

Last week, Gibson shared that he came back home to find it had been destroyed when his $14.5 million Malibu house went up in flames while he was recording Joe Rogan’s podcast in Austin, Texas.

He openly expressed his sorrow in a heartfelt interview on NewsNation’s Elizabeth Vargas Reports, following the destruction of his home by the devastating wildfires.

As I stood before the camera filming the podcast, Mel shared that he had learned about the neighborhood fires, and he couldn’t help but ponder if his own house was still intact amidst the blaze.

Mel began: ‘Obviously, it’s kind of devastating. It’s emotional.’

He mentioned: “During the Joe Rogan podcast, I found myself feeling uneasy as we conversed, for I was aware that my community was ablaze. This thought crossed my mind: I hope my home is still standing.

Upon arriving home, surprisingly, it was missing. Thoughts of relief crossed my mind as I realized I no longer had the annoying plumbing issues to deal with.

‘I had a lot of personal things there that, you know, I can’t get back…

I have a variety of items, ranging from old photos and documents to personal belongings and clothing, which I’ve accumulated over the years. Some of it is quite unique, but it’s replaceable.

‘What truly matters to me are the people in my family and those I hold dear. Fortunately, they are all safe, sound, and thriving, which is what truly matters to me at the end of the day.’

For quite some time now, Mel has persistently been attempting to unload a vast property that resembles a mansion, yet the sale eludes him despite reducing its asking price by a significant $3 million.

In 2008, the grand estate constructed in 1996 was bought for approximately $11.5 million by an Academy Award recipient. It featured five bedrooms and exuded a noble, old-world charm with a castle-like tower.
