Liam Neeson’s action classic is on TV tonight
Liam Neeson embarked on a new acting chapter, focusing on action roles, with the release of “Taken” in 2008, and you have the opportunity to watch this action masterpiece tonight.
Just in case you’ve forgotten, the movie “Taken” features Liam Neeson as Bryan Mills, a former CIA agent, who must reactivate his unique skill set when his daughter Kim (Maggie Grace) and her friend Amanda (Katie Cassidy) are abducted during a vacation in France.
The original film earned over $225 million globally, but its following sequels and the subsequent prequel TV show didn’t fare particularly well in terms of quality.

In 2016, Neeson humorously dismissed the idea of a fourth Taken movie by saying, “A daughter can only be taken so many times.” If there is another film, he quipped, it might be titled something like, “Can you please take my daughter?
However, he has been occupied with numerous action films, including “In the Land of Saints and Sinners”, currently streaming on Netflix.
Taken airs tonight (January 17) at 9pm on Film4.
