Bluey Fans Lose Their Minds Over Shocking Sausage Sandwich Fairy Bread Combo: ‘I’d Like to Report a Crime’
Fans of the popular series Bluey have sparked online conversations following an unusual portrayal of not just one, but two classic Australian treats in recent episodes.
In the minisode Butlers, the character of Bluey can be seen ordering up a sausage sandwich.
However, even the adored blue heeler dog made it clear that she preferred her hot dog served with “fairy bread” but without any “yellow sprinkles”.
Known as a beloved treat among Australian children, fairy bread is made up of slices of white bread spread with butter and decorated with multi-colored sprinkles.
However fans were not impressed with Bluey’s combination of the two dishes.
In a Reddit post, a user uploaded a picture of their homemade dish and wrote: “Has anyone else encountered a similar 2-in-1 creation?
‘Triple zero? Hello? I’d like to report a crime,’ joked one user.
Several individuals criticized the use of multigrain bread instead of classic white bread by the poster, citing their own preference.
A displeased Bluey fan expressed their opinion, stating that the true outrage seems to be over the presence of what looks like multigrain bread, an item they believe is unwelcome in both fairy bread and sausage sizzles.
Another joked: ‘On multigrain? You heathen.’
‘Who hurt you?’ another asked.
This commenter simply and fairly wanted to know, ‘Do you hate Australia?’
One feared for what was to come next, ‘Is nothing sacred? What’s next, Vegemite Pavlova??’
While another said, ‘Go to your room. We’re not even angry, but we are very, very disappointed.’
As a devoted fan, I’ve been thrilled to be part of the millions who have consistently tuned into one of the top ten streamed kids’ animated series in the U.S., maintaining its peak position for an astounding 112 weeks!
According to Comicbook, the statistics you see were assembled earlier this month by Nielsen Ratings, a system that monitors viewing habits across the United States.
Based on a survey conducted by Nielsen, Bluey has consistently ranked among the top ten popular streaming shows in the United States since October 2022.
In over 60 different nations, the popular animated series Bluey can be found. In Australia, all three seasons of this Emmy-winning show are accessible on ABC iview. Meanwhile, in the United States, you can stream it on Disney+, and certain episodes are available on BBC iPlayer in the U.K.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that Bluey’s debut animated movie will hit theaters, a joint production between BBC Studios and The Walt Disney Company. This project is being helmed by none other than the original show’s creator, Joe Brumm.
In a straightforward and conversational manner, Brumm stated, “Working with a more extended format in The Sign for Series 3 was truly enjoyable. Proceeding to a full-length feature movie seems like a logical progression from that experience.
I’ve long believed that Bluey should have its own cinematic film experience. I aspire for it to become a shared, immersive event that the entire family can appreciate and enjoy collectively.
