Fortnite Battle Royale to Bring Godzilla and Kong to the Island From Tomorrow

Starting tomorrow with update v33.20, Fortnite Battle Royale is set to introduce Godzilla and Kong on its Battle Royale Island! These legendary movie titans will participate in the ‘Titan Takedown’ event, where players can even transform into the mighty Godzilla.

As a gamer, if I want to transform into Godzilla, I should keep an eye out for a portal that occasionally pops up on the Battle Royale map. If I manage to leap through it, there’s a chance I could morph into the legendary monster! As Godzilla, I can unleash my terrifying Roar to reveal any nearby opponents, send foes flying with a powerful Stomp Attack, or reduce structures to rubble using my Heat Ray.

As a gamer, here’s how I might rephrase that: “I’ve got some exciting news! The Rail Gun has been taken out of the vault to aid in taking down Godzilla. To stay safe while dealing damage, you can hide inside the Shield Bubble. The player who inflicts the most damage on the monster will be rewarded with the Godzilla Medallion and Burst Quad Launcher.

Those who possess the Fortnite Hunters Battle Pass have the opportunity to unveil the Godzilla Evolved Outfit and coordinating items as well. By finishing every Battle Pass Quest before February 21st, in any Fortnite adventure, you’ll also gain access to the Energized Godzilla Style.

In the store, you’ll come across the Mechagodzilla & Kong Bundle too, offering iconic versions of these movie titans along with items like the Proton Drill Pickaxe, Kong’s Battle Axe Pickaxe, Proton Exo-Boosters Backpack, B.E.A.S.T. Armorplate Backpack, Roar Power Band, Cybernetic Scream Band, and B.E.A.S.T. Glove Gesture.
