Arnold Schwarzenegger Films Holiday Movie in NYC While His Mansion Faces Devastating Fires!

On Wednesday, Arnold Schwarzenegger carried on with the filming of his Santa Claus movie titled “The Man With The Bag” in New York City, despite the fact that his home in Brentwood was put at risk by the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles.

77, playing the role of Santa, was adorned with a white-dyed beard, colorful sweater, bobble hat, and a red coat while filming a Santa Con after-party scene in Manhattan. This took place several days after he thanked firefighters and emergency responders for their tireless efforts in battling fires throughout the day and night.

He accessorized his outfit with a snowflake patterned scarf, and was spotted alongside his co-star, Alan Ritchson (aged 42), along with several other Santa characters.

The renowned figure’s luxurious home in Brentwood, California is currently at risk due to the Pacific Palisades fire, which has reached a containment level of 22 percent.

Previously, the star expressed gratitude on platform X for the well-wishes from fans during the crisis, stating: “I’m truly touched by all the thoughtful messages and concern you’ve shown. Rest assured, I am safe, along with my pets, and my home is fine as well.

It’s more preferable if you direct all your attention towards these brave firefighters and first responders, as they tirelessly wage a seemingly insurmountable struggle day and night.

On Tuesday, January 7th, the Palisades fire ignited, followed closely by the Eaton fire in Pasadena.

Over 180,000 individuals in Los Angeles have been forced to leave their homes, while at least 25 people have tragically perished.

Four more fires have ignited in the areas of Topanga/Calabasas, Acton, Simi Valley, and the Hollywood Hills.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the Santa Ana winds whipped up gusts reaching from 80 to 100 miles per hour, fanning the flames of the fires that firefighters were struggling to control.

Entire sections of Pacific Palisades and Altadena were erased by the fires, leaving no trace behind.

According to reports, a fire that broke out in Calabasas, known as the Kenneth Fire, is suspected to have been started intentionally. The individual believed responsible for this act has since been taken into custody by law enforcement officials.

Numerous famous figures have witnessed the destruction of their lavish, multi-million dollar estates when the flames from the Hollywood Hills and Calabasas fires reached them.

In a delightful twist, the legendary Arnold, known for his iconic roles in action flicks, has returned to set for the first time in almost thirty years to shoot his debut holiday movie.

Previously, Arnold starred in a heartwarming Christmas family film from 1996, where he played a diligent dad desperate to obtain a popular action figure for his child, who was unable to find one due to high demand. This quest eventually led him to understand the true essence of Christmas.

Previously serving as the governor of California, this individual has just added “grandfather” to his title for the third time. He now finds himself among a distinguished group of actors who have portrayed Santa Claus, which includes Ben Affleck, Tim Allen, Billy Bob Thornton, and Kurt Russell.

The initial report about the famous Hollywood actor appearing in another holiday-themed comedy emerged as early as March.

Adam Shankman is directing the Amazon MGM Studios film from a script by Allan Rice. 

In this story, when Santa’s magical sack gets swiped, he resorts to the names on his naughty list and recruits Vance, an ex-burglar, to assist in its recovery.

Accompanied by his daughter, Santa, and an oddball team of elves, Vance must execute the most daring robbery he’s ever attempted in order to rescue Christmas.

For the very first time since 1996, when Jingle All The Way was released, Arnie will make an appearance in a holiday-themed film.

And it will be his first film role of any kind since Terminator: Dark Fate in 2019.

He did shoot the flick Kung Fury 2 that year but it has not been released due to legal issues.

Apart from his professional life as an actor, he also takes on the role of a parent to five children: Katherine, aged 35, Christina, 31, along with three sons, Patrick (also 31), Christopher, 27, and Joseph, who is likewise 27 years old.

Except for Joseph, who was born to Mildren Patricia Baena (his long-term housekeeper), he has shared the upbringing of all his other children with Shriver.
