For the upcoming season, Death in Paradise has announced several notable guest actors, along with setting the date for its much-anticipated comeback.
In the gaming world, I’m all geared up and ready to dive into the fresh episodes of this captivating series. As a fresh recruit, DI Mervin Wilson, played by Don Gilet, is making his grand entrance with these new episodes, having previously made a cameo in the recent holiday special.
The BBC has now revealed that season 14 will premiere on Friday, January 31 at 9pm on BBC One.

Siobhan Redmond, Chantelle Alle, Rita Bernard-Shaw, Bobby Gordon from ‘Hollyoaks’, Tony Marshall of ‘Casualty’, Charlotte Spencer, Trieve Blackwood-Cambridge from ‘Holby City’, Gerard Horan, Lily Nichol, and Lyndsey Marshal have all joined the cast.

After the recent resolution of the mysterious case known as ‘who killed the Santas?’ and learning about his late mother, Mervin is now prepared to return home and depart from the island permanently, as stated in the summary.
However, if a case that deeply touches those at the station arises, does he find himself drawn to linger longer?
In the upcoming episodes, Commissioner Selwyn Patterson will confront shocking news from the Chief Commissioner in Jamaica that threatens the police department’s foundation. Meanwhile, Mayor Catherine steps up as the final barrier in a fight to preserve the team, following an unforeseen enemy’s attempt to impose something incomprehensible.
