Gerard Butler’s action sequel is on TV tonight

In U.S. theaters once again is Gerard Butler, starring in “Den of Thieves 2: Pantera“. If this has sparked your interest and left you craving for more, then we’ve found just the film to satisfy that urge.

In the year 2016, Mike Banning, portrayed by Butler, once more assumed his Secret Service agent character in the action sequel “London Has Fallen.” Naturally, Banning found himself responsible for safeguarding President Benjamin Asher, played by Aaron Eckhart, yet again.

As a dedicated gamer, I found myself thrust into a high-stakes, real-life scenario: A chilling plan had been set in motion to eliminate the leaders of the G7, as they paid their respects at the funeral of the former British Prime Minister. The President was among those targeted, and it fell upon me to safeguard him and thwart these ruthless terrorists before it’s too late.

If you missed it before, or feel like watching it again, the movie “London Has Fallen” is being broadcast tonight (January 16) at 11:25 pm on Film4.

It seems the movie screening may have passed already, but don’t worry! If you missed it, “London Has Fallen” is currently available for streaming on MGM+ for all subscribers.

As an enthusiast, I’d like to share a fantastic opportunity! You can upgrade your Amazon Prime membership by incorporating MGM+ at just £4.49 monthly. Better yet, there’s a 7-day complimentary trial available, so you could enjoy the action sequel completely free of charge! If it suits your fancy, you can always cancel the subscription afterwards.

If you don’t want to sign up, London Has Fallen is also available to buy or rent from Prime Video.

It’s clear that London Has Fallen didn’t receive positive reviews from critics, given its 28% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Yet, this unfavorable critique didn’t hinder the film from generating over $200 million globally.

In the film “Angel Has Fallen”, Butler reappeared, where character Mike Banning found himself reconnecting with his long-lost father. However, in this instance, it was Mike who was under suspicion for trying to kill the President of the United States.

London Has Fallen airs tonight (January 16) at 11.25pm on Film4.
