Here Are the Artists Performing in D.C. at Trump Inauguration Celebrations
Prominent artists such as Kid Rock and country music sensation Jason Aldean are set to grace stages in Washington, D.C., during the upcoming presidential inauguration festivities this weekend. On Wednesday, the Trump-Vance Inaugural Committee revealed many of the performers on their lineup.
On Sunday, it’s been announced that Kid Rock, who has consistently supported President Trump, as well as Billy Ray Cyrus, will team up with Lee Greenwood and The Village People at the “Make America Great Again” event taking place at Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. Additionally, a choir from Liberty University is also set to perform.
Greenwood expressed his enthusiasm to the Associated Press this morning, saying “The spectacle is magnificent! I can’t wait to perform once more for the President of the United States, and especially my good friend, Donald J. Trump.
Country music artist, Aldean – who has been nominated for five Grammys and is known for his controversial hit “Try It in a Small Town” – will take the stage at The Liberty Ball this coming Monday evening, joined by The Village People and an unexpected musical performer.
On Monday, the swearing-in ceremony will showcase artists previously mentioned, including Carrie Underwood, who will sing “America the Beautiful,” opera tenor Christopher Maccio performing the National Anthem, and Greenwood. Subsequent to this event, there will be three inaugural balls.
I’m deeply fond of our nation, and I feel privileged to have been invited to perform at the Inauguration, contributing in a modest way to this momentous occasion,” Underwood expressed in a statement on Monday.
At the Commander-in-Chief Ball, country band Rascal Flatts will perform alongside Parker McCollum, a talented musician hailing from Texas.
Gary LeVox, lead singer of Rascal Flatts, expressed on Instagram that he was filled with joy, humbled, and thankful for the opportunity he had been given. He played at Donald Trump’s first inauguration and promised it would be an unforgettable night. In his post, he extended gratitude to South Dakota governor Kristi Noem.
At the luxurious Starlight Ball, we’ll have an outstanding performance by Gavin DeGraw, who is famed for his hit tune “I Don’t Want to Be,” a track well-recognized as the theme song for the TV series “One Tree Hill” on The CW network.
At his initial inauguration in 2017, Trump was accompanied by shows from the Rockettes, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and 16-year-old Jackie Evancho, a contestant on “America’s Got Talent.
