Poisoned My Children Twice!
Hugh Grant openly acknowledged that he accidentally contaminated his children’s food on two separate occasions due to a series of mishaps during barbecues, and he humbly admitted that he may not be the most skilled chef around.
Hugh, aged 64, shared an informal initial date story with British Vogue about his wife, Anna Eberstein, who is 41 years old.
In Vogue’s February issue, Hugh conducted an interview with his fellow actor, Renée Zellweger, prior to the release of Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy.
Here, Hugh, also known as Daniel Cleaver, offered an uncommon glimpse into his personal family affairs during a reunion with his screen partner-turned-love interest, Renée Zellweger, portraying Bridget Jones.
In a surprising turn of events, Hugh stunned Renee by confessing that he had taken up cooking after sixty-four years – a revelation that was swiftly followed by him admitting his ineptitude in the kitchen, having accidentally served his family worms on two occasions.
He admitted that he had made his family sick on two occasions by serving them undercooked chicken, which resulted in them getting worms. He clarified that it happened in the dark.
Initially, I placed the food on the grill and inserted a tool similar to Heston Blumenthal’s. However, I wasn’t able to clearly identify what it was. Consequently, I dished it out, revealing worms throughout. Now, the children plead with me not to prepare their meals anymore.
After swiftly overcoming the ordeal, the renowned British figure disclosed that his initial outing with Anna, his wife since 2018, took place at a quaint neighborhood wine bar.
Hugh too remembered the distressing instance when he came close to choking at a meal shared with Sarah Jessica Parker, all while anticipating the arrival of Renee, within the grandeur of Claridge’s.
For me, Claridge’s holds a special, intricate place in my heart. Decades ago, I shared a meal there with the remarkable Sarah Jessica Parker. In the midst of our conversation, she revealed something so captivating that it momentarily caused me to swallow a morsel of chicken prematurely, sending me scrambling to the restroom, where I felt compelled to process this newfound knowledge alone.
Fortunately, a kind-hearted physician who happened to be from Texas spotted me, pursued me to that location, and miraculously revived me by carrying me on his back and performing the Heimlich maneuver, a procedure similar to burping a baby.
Last year, Hugh, a father of five, disclosed the names and genders of his two youngest kids during an interview on Jimmy Kimmel’s talk show, as he had not previously shared this information.
As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’ve always been careful about sharing personal details, especially when it comes to my family. Two of my little ones remain mysteries, their names and genders yet to be revealed to the public eye.
However, Hugh eventually disclosed the peculiar details during his interview on the American talk show.
In the course of discussing his common middle name “Mungo,” Hugh revealed that his youngest daughter bears the same name, which he also made known to the audience.
Hugh recalled: ‘I was in a bit of a panic with my wife on the day we named [our daughter].’
He explained the amusing origin of the name with a chuckle: ‘We figured it’d be fun if she could tell people at bars one day that her middle name is Danger. That’s why her name is Lulu Danger Grant, reminiscent of Austin Powers.’
Hugh, in addition to having a son named John Mungo, later disclosed that his youngest child isn’t the sole family member bearing an entertaining moniker.
As a proud father, I shared an equal measure of joy and apprehension upon welcoming my firstborn daughter. Just like any other parent, naming her had us in a bit of a tizzy after she made her grand entrance into the world.
As a devoted follower, I found myself in a quandary and sought my son’s guidance. I asked him, “With another little one on the way, what should we name her?” He responded with a gleam in his eye, “How about ‘Kevin’, as that was his favorite Minion.
Initially, we contemplated naming her Kevin, but then decided to consider another name. He suggested Blue, as it happened to be his favorite color.
The announcement was unexpected for Hugh, as he, known for being a major figure in Hollywood, usually prefers to maintain privacy regarding his personal affairs.
In September 2013, Hugh welcomed his oldest child, a 13-year-old girl named Tabitha, who came into the world as a result of a brief relationship with Tinglan Hong.
As a lifestyle advisor, I’ve found myself in a challenging situation that I’d like to share: Unfortunately, I couldn’t be present at Tabitha’s birth. My reason? Over time, I’ve encountered too many instances where healthcare professionals have been paid to disclose private information to the media. This unfortunate reality has led me to make difficult decisions about my attendance at hospital deliveries. It’s a complex issue that I believe deserves more attention and transparency in our medical system.
Of course, I couldn’t wait to meet my little girl as soon as I could, even if it was just briefly. In the end, I decided to take a chance and went to see her the day following her birth.
Tabitha got her first name from Hugh, while her middle name, meaning ‘happy surprise’, was selected by her mom.
It wasn’t until the following year that Hugh officially became John’s father. This is because it wasn’t until then that John’s birth certificate was amended, listing Hugh as the father and Anna as the mother.
Felix, Tinglan’s second child and younger brother of John, was born in December 2012. At the time of his birth, Hugh expressed his joy on Twitter: “Overjoyed that my daughter now has a brother. I love them both excessively. They have an amazing mom.”
In a delightful turn of events, Hugh and Anna’s second-born, Blue, made her entrance on December 15, 2015, while their third child, Lulu, joined the family in March 2018. The news of Lulu’s birth was shared by Hugh’s former partner, Elizabeth Hurley.
On Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the celebrity disclosed: “He had one last week; now he has a total of five.
He’s a charming father, truly kind-hearted. Fatherhood has significantly changed him from a deeply unhappy individual to someone less unhappy. The transformation has been beneficial for him. He’s moved up in terms of happiness.
Hugh, following his marriage to Anna, expressed his sentiments openly, stating: “I consider myself incredibly fortunate. My wife is simply wonderful. She holds a special place in my heart. Together, we’ve created a family of three beautiful children, and we share our lives.
