Outlander star Sam Heughan’s debut movie is now on Prime Video

Sam Heughan’s debut movie Born to be Great is now available to watch on Prime Video.

2010’s movie features the actor known for Outlander portraying Alexander the Great. The tale unfolds as a rite-of-passage narrative, chronicling his transformation from a young man in Macedonia to assuming the role of Regent of the Land, having demonstrated his abilities to his father, King Philip (played by John Moulder-Brown).

Additional performers in this production are actress Lauren Cohan from The Walking Dead, Daytime Emmy winner Paul Telfer of Days of Our Lives, British actor Christopher Cazenove, who was known for Dynasty, and Amy Shiels, recognized for her role in Red Election.

Yesterday, January 14th, the film that marked Sam Heughan’s first acting role, titled “Born to be Great,” became available for streaming on Amazon Prime in both the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Currently, Sam Heughan is back on our screens as the passionate Highlander Jamie Fraser in the second part of season 7 for the hit series “Outlander”. The final episode of this season airs this coming weekend.

On The One Show in November, the actor expressed that the forthcoming episode ranks among his “most preferred endings” throughout the entire show’s run.

As a gaming enthusiast, I can’t help but express my thoughts on how Jamie and Claire’s relationship is put through an epic challenge across multiple seasons. And let me tell you, the finale? Absolutely mind-blowing! It’s one of my all-time favorites because it’s just so intensely dramatic. The anticipation for what’s coming next is almost unbearable!

Outlander has also been renewed for an eighth and final season, which has already wrapped filming.

In a conversation about filming her last scene on the popular Starz series, actress Caitríona Balfe expressed: “Indeed, it was incredibly emotional. The scene itself was already emotional, as many of them often are.

We’ve had two types of gatherings so far. One seemed like the main event, followed by some additional discussions and details. However, the official gathering was quite significant; it was held at the studio, where many executives attended and filled up the entire space. During this event, we shot a seven-minute scene with much of the cast present.

Outlander airs on Starz in the US, and streams via MGM+ on Prime Video Channels in the UK.
