Ashley Walters announces new career move with project coming May 2025

Actor Ashley Walters, known for his role in “Top Boy,” recently shared an exciting update about transitioning from television into literature as he has written his debut book.

In “Always Winning“, the performer articulates sincerely his experiences from his childhood, along with his personal fights against issues related to identity, substance abuse, family conflicts, stardom, and ultimately understanding that, after a long period of strife, he was the one who could alter his destiny.

The book can be characterized as the structure that Walters created to help him transform his life and direct it towards a more optimistic, fulfilling path.

The narrative proceeds: “For the first time in writing, this book uncovers his unique philosophy, detailing it through compelling accounts from his life and career. He imparts the principles of this philosophy, demonstrating how they can be applied to surmount personal obstacles, thereby fostering a harmonious blend of genuine purpose, inner joy, and personal achievement and satisfaction.

Always Winning” – Now Up for Pre-Order!

This inspiring title will hit the shelves on May 29, 2025, in three convenient formats: Hardcover, eBook, and Audio editions.

It’s a privilege to have you along on my journey, those who played a part in my success. I may not be a life expert, but I’ve discovered that we each possess the power to bring about change. This book is essentially my roadmap, explanation, and insights into how, why, and what I experienced. (Walters’ statement)

I’d like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the fantastic crew at Transworld and my exceptional collaborator, Chris Isaie. Together, they’ve breathed life into our project! Here’s to what comes next!

In other places, the actor has recently made an appearance in the latest Netflix thriller by Harlan Coben titled “Missing You”, that premiered on the streaming service on the first day of the New Year.

Walters enthusiastically expressed that being involved and collaborating with fantastic individuals during the production of the show was truly remarkable for him. He also mentioned working alongside Richard Armitage.

I worked closely with Lenny Henry and Jessica Plummer quite a bit, making the experience quite enjoyable for me. Indeed, it was a lot of fun and I truly enjoyed myself.

Here’s a more casual way of saying it:

“Always Winning hits shelves on May 29, 2025 in hardcover, eBook, and audio formats. If you can’t wait, you can start streaming Missing You right now on Netflix.”
