Bachelor star reveals heartbreaking family loss: ‘We had the most special bond’

The Bachelor star Cass Wood has announced the heartbreaking loss of a beloved family member.

She shared a montage honoring her deceased pet, featuring cherished moments from throughout the years that she had shared with Coco.

‘Cass wrote a tribute to her beloved cat Coco, who passed away. For 18 years, they shared an extraordinary friendship and a unique connection.’

‘We even shared the same birthday, she was the most loyal cat to me. Love you forever.’

Cass too posted a brief video of her fist bumping with her furry friend, accompanied by the comment: ‘Happy to have spent New Year’s Eve showering her with plenty of hugs.’

‘She was the absolute best.’

In August, Cass announced she was expecting to welcome her first child with husband Tyson Davis.

In 2018, the celebrity who appeared on Nick Cummins’ season of Honey Badgers announced some thrilling news through an Instagram post.

‘LOOK WHAT’S ON THE WAY! Here are some lovely pictures I took with Tyson at the beach, introducing Baby Davis to the world.’

In one image, the couple shared a kiss as Cass held an ultrasound image towards the camera.

In another picture snapped at their residence, Cass and Tyson proudly displayed a baby onesie, emblazoned with the message “Baby Davis arrives February 2025”, in anticipation of its arrival.

The dog joined the festivities as well, earning a personalized bandana that read: ‘Future Big Sister.’ (or ‘To-Be Big Sister’)

Friends of Cass, who are celebrities, flooded the post with congratulatory messages, and Bachelorette Brooke Blurton commented: “Congratulations,” accompanied by heart emojis and virtual clinking champagne glasses.

Tenille Favios, who was a part of Nick Cummins’ 2018 season of The Bachelor, also expressed her congratulations using three heart symbols.

Meanwhile, radio host and podcaster Brittany Hockley said: ‘Congrats guys, this is so cute.’

As a devoted admirer, I should mention that my journey into the limelight started when I graced the screen during Honey Badger’s season of The Bachelor. Subsequently, in 2019, I dared to seek love once more on reality television, this time on Bachelor in Paradise.

In September 2023, she wed her long-term partner, the rugby player Tyson, at a captivating semi-local ceremony held in Gerringong.

In the year 2017, Cass and Tyson had a brief romance, but they ended their relationship just prior to Cass joining Bachelor In Paradise.

While on the show she fell for ex-Bachelor Richie Strahan, but their romance was short-lived.

Cass and Tyson reconnected in 2019 after she returned from filming in Fiji.

Previously, she admitted that she had never been as happy as she is now, following the return of Tyson in her life.
