Sir Rod Stewart’s 80th birthday celebrations come to an end as his son Alastair shares sweet family snaps after ‘unforgettable’ St Barts holiday
Sir Rod Stewart’s 80th birthday festivities concluded as the musician marked the occasion by bringing together his large family for a lavish vacation in St Barts, enjoying a stylish celebration.
The vocalist indulged in a luxurious getaway on a lavishly priced superyacht, worth approximately $150 million, cruising through the Caribbean alongside his spouse, Penny Lancaster (aged 53), and six out of his eight kids.
His son, Alastair, posted a collection of heartwarming family photos and expressed his delight over the remarkable journey they all enjoyed together.
The whole gang posed for a smiling shot, before they began pulling faces for a goofy snap.
As the family messed around, Alastair captioned the post: ‘An unforgettable time, love you all’.
A week ago, Rod, who is said to have rented a yacht for approximately $3 million, took full advantage of the fine weather by donning a fedora hat, a vibrant yellow shirt, and enhancing his tan during a speedboat excursion towards the coast.
Penny initially appeared on the beach wearing a black, semi-transparent lace gown paired with a white t-shirt. However, she quickly discarded those clothes to display her form in a stylish cheetah-patterned swimsuit.
Back in 1987, when Rod brought Ruby – the woman who’d soon capture my heart – along with his former flame Kelly Emberg, she donned a stylish khaki bikini and completed the look with a sleek black hat and sunglasses that made her stand out. Accompanied by her partner Jake Kalic, Ruby is currently soaking up the sun on their getaway together.
During the beach day, Penny swam with her son Alastair and Adam, who is going out with Rod’s daughter Renee.
Rod has eight children over 47 years by five different mothers.
The crooner and Penny married in 2007 and have sons Alastair and Aiden Patrick, 14.
Kimberly, aged 45, who is the daughter of Alana, has been posting photos from an extravagant vacation, featuring a snapshot of her child Delilah, 13, alongside Rod.
Her brother Sean, 44, is part of the party along with his girlfriend Julia Stambler.
Liam, 30, and his wife Nicole Artukovich, who is expecting their second child, are also onboard.
Apart from being a father figure, Rod is also a dad to Sarah Streeter, who is 60 years old and was born from his previous relationship with Susannah Boffey. It seems that Sarah didn’t accompany them during their recent journey.
On Instagram, Rod celebrated turning 80 by posting a message that he’s not done yet, following his assurance to fans.
In a heartfelt message on Instagram Stories, the legendary musician expressed gratitude towards his “faithful and enthusiastic” fans for their unwavering support throughout his 50-year musical journey.
On my 80th birthday, I’d like to seize the moment to extend heartfelt appreciation and thanks to each one of you, my devoted and spirited fans from around the globe, for contributing to a remarkable life of mine.

Simultaneously, Penny paid homage to her ‘dear one’ by posting a picture of the radiant Maggie May singer under the sun.

Rod often enjoys vacationing with his family, as he spent several days sailing on a lavish 197-foot yacht worth approximately £274,000 per week during the summer of 2022 in Italy.
But insiders claim he wanted to ‘do it up big’ for his current celebratory adventure.
The Grammy-winning artist selected a luxurious yacht boasting nine guest suites, complete with a beauty parlor, fitness center, Turkish bath, swimming pool, and a helicopter pad.
According to another source, ‘This journey held significant value for Rod,’ they noted. ‘The entire family set aside their differences and focused on creating a memorable bonding experience.’
‘Being surrounded by so much love is invaluable to Rod. He wanted to do it up big for this one.
