What to know about the allegations in new documentary ‘Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy’
According to Sara Rivers, a member of the band Da Band, she recalls Sean Combs making several outlandish threats during their time collaborating together for MTV’s “Making the Band 2.”
In the recently released documentary “Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy,” available on Peacock, Rivers asserts that he threatened one of her band members by saying, “You make me so furious I feel like devouring you.” Furthermore, she alleges that Combs once suggested to another band member that it would be simple to hire someone to cause them serious harm.
Rivers expressed that such outbursts and other actions from Combs caused her discomfort, leading her to prefer not to be in his company without others around.
Rivers stated, “I preferred his presence only when there were cameras around, not otherwise. He crossed a boundary by touching me inappropriately.

How Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs allegedly used his empire and employees to ‘get his way’ with women
For decades, the influential figure in the music industry has been supported in his alleged sexual misconduct towards women by a multifaceted and expansive group of accomplices, as suggested by an analysis of legal records and conversations with present and past colleagues, according to The Times.
In “The Making of a Bad Boy,” for the very first time, Rivers breaks his silence regarding the reported event, and this is one of the fresh allegations presented.
According to Combs’ lawyer, the former hip-hop executive firmly rejects the unsubstantiated claims surrounding the documentary. On matters related to ongoing legal proceedings, Mr. Combs prefers not to comment.
After his September arrest on charges such as sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting individuals for prostitution, a special documentary is set to air. Before the indictment, there were numerous claims against him, including by his ex-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, who alleged sexual and physical abuse. Since then, even more accusations have surfaced. Combs has consistently denied all these allegations.
Apart from Rivers, “The Making of a Bad Boy” also includes interviews with Combs’ childhood friend, a past bodyguard, lawyers who defended Combs’ accusers, journalists, and others close to the artist, such as singer Al B. Sure, who is known for his criticism of Combs. Here are four more insights gleaned from this documentary special.
Al B. Sure offers explosive theories about Kim Porter’s death — and his own health troubles
In the documentary titled “The Making of a Bad Boy,” Kim Porter, Combs’ ex-girlfriend who passed away in 2018, is frequently mentioned, with some interviewees claiming that Combs mistreated her. However, it is important to note that according to the film, there was no substantiated evidence indicating that Kim Porter suffered from domestic violence.
As a passionate cinephile, I’d like to share some insights into a captivating tale from “The Making of a Bad Boy.” In this narrative, a man named Albert Brown III, or myself as it were, had a son named Quincy with a woman named Porter. However, before Porter and Combs crossed paths, she was already a mother to Quincy, casting a shadow of intrigue over her untimely demise in the movie’s narrative.

Behind the calamitous fall of hip-hop mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs
Following numerous lawsuits, people close to Diddy (Combs) have shared with The Times that allegations of his inappropriate behavior towards women span several decades.
As per Sure’s account, Porter cautioned him regarding Combs, suggesting that Sure should keep away from Quincy due to rumors of Combs’ overprotective nature.
Kimberly advised, and Sure heeded her warning, staying aloof due to concerns for his safety. As she explained, her intention was not only to safeguard him but also to risk her own life in the process. The documentary reveals that there’s no proof suggesting Porter’s death was anything other than natural causes. In September, Porter and Combs’ children refuted various speculative rumors about their parents’ relationship.
In 2022, the individual who experienced a life-threatening medical emergency, also implied that there might have been some form of suspicious activity related to his health incident.
He stated, “I carefully documented each person who tried to arrange my downfall or aid in the attempt on Al B. Sure’s life.
A former Bad Boy Entertainment employee speaks out
The documentary special features an audio interview with a previous employee of Bad Boy Records who chose to stay unidentified. They explained their decision as being due to the long-standing allegations that Sean Combs has reportedly caused harm to others over the past three decades.
The former employee asserts that he possesses a great deal of knowledge about his time with Combs and even shares previously unseen footage. He describes Combs as being extremely violent on numerous occasions and believes that this behavior has gone unchecked for far too long.
Beyond discussing Sean Combs’ character and implying a tendency towards violence, a previous employee of Bad Boy Records provides insight into alleged sex parties involving Combs. He asserts that he was responsible for inviting girls to these events. Furthermore, he alleges an incident where Combs spent the night with girls who were most likely underage.
A previous worker claims he encountered Combs around 2015-2016. This individual further asserts that at one point, Combs displayed to him explicit videos of two individuals engaging in sexual acts, while allegedly stating, “This is what people do in this industry to climb the ladder.
In response to a producer’s question about tasks assigned by Combs, the ex-employee characterized it as a sensitive topic and declined to provide more details.
Diddy accuser details her alleged rape
Under anonymity, a woman known as Ashley asserts that in 2018, she endured a harrowing ordeal where she was threatened with a knife, sexually assaulted by Combs and his companions, and further violated using a TV remote. She also criticizes the police for not thoroughly probing her accusations. Ashley has since been living in seclusion due to her growing reluctance towards social interactions. (Ashley Parham submitted a federal lawsuit against Combs for assault in October. Combs has allegedly refuted these charges.)
Combs’ mother allegedly threw sex parties, too
One of the friends interviewed for the special is Tim Patterson, a former resident of the suburban house where Combs grew up. In the interview, Patterson discusses the challenges Combs faced due to his father’s early death and shares insights into their shared childhood experiences at home.
As per Patterson’s account, Combs’ mother, Janice, frequently hosted parties at a location where it was not unusual to encounter individuals involved in sexual acts. The attendees of these parties were diverse and included substance abusers, lesbians, homosexuals, pimps, and drug dealers.
According to Patterson, those who attended the parties were residents of Harlem and individuals often found on the streets. He added that it was not uncommon to accidentally stumble upon a private bedroom where a couple might be found unclothed.
