Moana 2 confirms digital release date as it nears $1 billion worldwide
The sequel to Moana, presently earning around $990 million globally, is nearly set to surpass the $1 billion mark. Soon, it’ll be accessible for viewing at home.
Initially, the Disney sequel originated as a series on Disney+, however, transitioning it into a theatrical sequel turned out to be highly profitable. Much like previous Disney productions, the film has enjoyed an extended cinema-only run, but this exclusivity may not last much longer.
Based on Ratuken TV’s schedule for January, you can purchase or rent “Moana 2” starting from next Monday, the 27th of January, in the United Kingdom.
It appears that Disney hasn’t announced an official release date as of now, and it can’t be pre-ordered through the typical channels. Given previous practices, a two-month gap between cinema and digital releases for Disney films seems likely.
In the U.S., the official digital release date for the sequel has yet to be announced, though it may coincide with the UK release date if that proves to be accurate.
Although we haven’t specified the exact date for when “Moana 2” will debut on Disney+, it’s important to note that it won’t be available simultaneously with its digital release.
Over the past few years, we’ve been patiently waiting for about three months before popular Disney movies like “Inside Out 2” and “Deadpool & Wolverine” became available on our streaming platform. Given this pattern, it seems likely that “Moana 2” might be released around early March.
If you’re eagerly anticipating the next installment, you might find it in theaters before its digital launch at the end of this month. Meanwhile, catch up on the original film that’s currently streaming on Disney+.
As a devoted admirer, I can’t hide my excitement after seeing the hint at a potential third adventure for Moana in the closing credits of “Moana 2”.
