Daniel Craig’s new movie Queer is now available to watch at home

Luca Guadagnino’s movie is adapted from William S. Burroughs’ novel of the same title and features Craig as Lee, a U.S. expatriate in Mexico City, who develops an intense affection for Eugene, a previous soldier portrayed by Drew Starkey.

If you’d like to catch “Queer” on a large screen, it’s still playing in select movie theaters. However, for those in the United States, the film has been made available for home viewing as A24 launched its digital release today, specifically on January 14th.

Several events are unfolding due to the unfinished state of the book. However, Oliver Harris, who is editing the new version of William Burroughs’ Queer, expressed last night that he believes it isn’t actually incomplete.

He believes that’s the emotion Burroughs aimed for, leaving you with a sense of void and wonder about what comes next at the end of the book, as that was the intended effect.
