Claudia Winkleman set to replace Graham Norton in guest host stint

Next month, Claudia Winkleman steps up as a temporary host for Graham Norton’s chat show.

Tonight (January 10), “The Graham Norton Show” makes its comeback on our TV screens, featuring Tom Hiddleston from “The Night Manager,” Billy Porter known for his role in “Pose,” Marvel’s Brie Larson, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman from “Strictly,” and singer-songwriter Myles Smith as the guests who will be sitting on the couch.

In the given episode, it is disclosed that Winkleman will take over hosting duties from Norton, starting on February 28.

He appreciates the “Traitors” star standing in for him during his tour in Australia, and with a chuckle, Winkleman playfully says, “I offer my apologies in advance!

In a different part of the conversation, Winkleman talks about the latest installment of “The Traitors,” which smashed its own viewership record when it premiered on New Year’s Day.

She often finds herself both anxious and appreciative, fearing that no one is paying attention, yet joyful when they do. Her feelings toward the show Traitors resemble the pride parents have for their offspring, being overjoyed when others express affection for it.

“I can’t say much but the producers are so clever and there are lots of twists and turns coming.”

During the show, the presenter additionally discusses her distinctive fashion tastes, sharing that she often draws inspiration from a personal muse when it comes to her style.

We often find inspiration in certain individuals, such as Anita Dobson and Demis Roussos this year, or Princess Anne combined with Sarah Brightman for ‘Traitors’. Next year, I’m planning to emulate a character named Gerald from Clarkson’s Farm, hint, hint!

The Graham Norton Show returns on Friday, January 10 on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
