Last year, team Jungle won the event.

Where to watch?

Starting January 10th, 6 p.m. KST (which is 1 a.m. PT), you can catch the entire event unfold live on both the LCK YouTube and Twitch channels. This exciting event marks the commencement of the League of Legends 2025 season!

Physical 30

Please join us during the upcoming event for a deeper understanding of the “Physical 30,” a mini-game that determines the entire tournament bracket. Each match within this competition is a Best of One, and the team that emerges victorious from the Physical 30 will have the advantage of side selection in all subsequent matches.

Each captain must congregate at the middle of the blue lane, where they will collect 30 minions (CS). The team whose captain is eliminated first after reaching this target wins the game. However, there are fake players who will be placed on the red side, one for each team. Their role is to hinder the other four players from farming or being eliminated. Players have the freedom to pick their own runes and items, and eliminations can occur anywhere across the map.

Captains have the freedom to pick any champion they wish, however, imposters are limited to selecting champions from Noxus: Darius, Elise, LeBlanc, Samira, Rell, Mordekaiser, Sion, Vladimir, Cassiopeia, Briar, Draven, Ambessa, Swain, Riven, Kled, Talon, or Katarina.

The captains can select any champion they prefer, whereas the imposters are confined to choosing champions who hail from Noxus: Darius, Elise, LeBlanc, Samira, Rell, Mordekaiser, Sion, Vladimir, Cassiopeia, Briar, Draven, Ambessa, Swain, Riven, Kled, Talon, or Katarina.

Both versions convey the same information but offer slightly different wordings to maintain variety in reading and writing styles.

In this matchup, it was Team Mid who emerged victorious, with their captain, Faker, securing 30 CS using Corki. The second place finish went to Team Support, while Team Top, Team Bot, and the previous year’s winners, Team Jungle, placed behind them in that order.

Recaps

Team Support vs Bot

In the match, Team Support wasn’t daunted by Team Bot. With the first kill, a crucial factor for team advantage nowadays, Team Support proved unstoppable. The skill of ward positioning, as critical as ever, played its part in this game too. However, during a major confrontation near Harold, Team Bot managed some significant takedowns.

Despite Team Support initially having an edge and inflicting damage, it was becoming tougher for Team Bot. Though snowballing is crucial in the current game setup, Team Bot seems to be managing to gain some ground thanks to its strong roster of champions and damage dealers.

Even with the superiority at the beginning, Team Bot still managed to win the game!

Team Top vs Team Jungle

In just a few moments, it will be Team Top who claims the initial victory. However, Zeus wasn’t content with that and swiftly moved across Canyon to secure the second kill for his team instead. What an impressive display of confidence from Team Top! Team Jungle struggled to secure any kills, as the task proved challenging. Top lane players were relentless, upgraded their boots, and dominated every encounter in the game. Zeus played exceptionally well in this match, bringing enjoyment aplenty.

In this match, there was no contest between Team Jungle; the dominance of Team Top was clearly evident. To add to the excitement, Dplus KIA Siwoo performed a Cristiano Ronaldo-style celebration!

Team Mid vs Team Bot

2025’s first LCK League of Legends tournament is shaping up to be quite spectacular! Tem Mid demonstrated an unyielding drive to secure victory from the outset of the game. VicLa’s Yone displayed incredible might, leaving opponents in awe. Team Bot refused to concede defeat easily, fighting tooth and nail to alter the game’s outcome. However, despite brilliant strategies and Herculean efforts, they simply couldn’t match up to Team Mid’s strength.

Team Mid vs Team Top

In the opening skirmish, it was Team Mid who claimed the initial victory, despite Team Top’s impressive performance on the bot lane, where Ezreal managed to secure two kills. Throughout the tournament, VicLa showcased his mid-lane prowess with remarkable plays and skills, asserting his worth. At this year’s LCK LoL 2025 Season 1 event in Noxus, Team Mid solidified their status as the standout role, demonstrating their dominance. Welcome to Noxus!

This is an exciting tournament packed with captivating moves, offering insights into the latest gameplay meta and strategies. The upcoming year promises numerous alterations within the competitive environment, yet it certainly won’t diminish the incredible plays we’re accustomed to enjoying!
