Steeled Resolve event in Pokémon GO debuts Corviknight

Get your hands on Corviknight in Pokémon GO during the Steeled Resolve event.

During the Steeled Resolve event, you’ll find Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight in Pokémon GO. This event marks the ongoing introduction of Pokémon from Paldea during the Dual Destiny season. Previously, we introduced Fidough.

Here is everything you need to know about the Steeled Resolve event.

Pokémon GO Steeled Resolve event

Starting on Tuesday, January 21st, 10:00 a.m., and running all the way through to Sunday, January 26th, 2025, at 8:00 p.m., I’ll be immersed in the thrilling experience of the Steeled Resolve event, according to local time!

Corviknight debuts in Pokémon GO

The following Pokémon will debut in Pokémon GO during the Steeled Resolve event.

• Rookidee
• Corvisquire
• Corviknight

At the onset of the event, trainers have the ability to transform their Rookidee into Corvisquire by utilizing 25 Rookidee Candies, and then further advance Corvisquire into Corviknight using 100 Rookidee Candies.

In the natural world, you won’t stumble upon Rookidee on its own. Instead, you can only meet it by deploying a Magnetic Lure Module or hatching eggs that require 2 kilometers of walking.

Steeled Resolve Pokémon GO Event Bonuses

• You can use a Charged TM to help a Shadow Pokémon forget the Charged Attack Frustration.
• Magnetic Lure Modules will attract different Pokémon during the event, such as Onix, Beldum, Shieldon, and Rookidee.

Event wild encounters

During the Steeled Resolve event, the following Pokémon will spawn more frequently in the wild.

• Clefairy
• Machop
• Totodile
• Marill
• Hoppip
• Paldean Wooper
• Shieldon
• Bunnelby
• Carbink
• Mareanie

All of those Pokémon can be shiny, besides Carbink.

Raids

During the event, the following Pokémon will appear in Raids.

One Star Raids:

• Lickitung
• Skorupi
• Pancham
• Amaura

Five Star Raids

• Deoxys (Attack Forme) until January 24 at 10:00 a.m.
• Deoxys (Defense Forme) until January 24 at 10:00 a.m.
• Dialga beginning January 24 at 10:00 a.m.

Mega Raids

• Mega Gallade until January 24 at 10:00 a.m.
• Mega Medicham beginning January 24 at 10:00 a.m.

Pokémon GO Steeled Resolve brings Rookidee to 2 km Eggs

During this exciting event, I’ll have the chance to grab some unique 2km Eggs! The pool of these eggs I can obtain throughout the event is:

Steeled Resolve grants featured attacks to certain Pokémon 

Furthermore, some Pokémon will evolve with a unique highlighted ability during this occasion. Typically, such abilities are exclusive to Community Day events or can only be acquired using an Elite Technical Machine (TM).

• Evolve Machoke during the event to get a Machamp that knows the Fast Attack Karate Chop.
• Evolve Croconaw during the event to get a Feraligatr that knows the Charged Attack Hydro Cannon.
• Evolve Wooper during the event to get a Quagsire that knows the Charged Attack Aqua Tail.
• Evolve Lickitung during the event to get a Lickilicky that knows the Charged Attack Body Slam.
• Evolve Corvisquire (Rookidee’s Evolution) during the event to get a Corviknight that knows the Charged Attack Iron Head.
• Evolve Paldean Wooper during the event to get a Clodsire that knows the Charged Attack Megahorn.
