Approximately 130,000 individuals have been either instructed to leave their homes (evacuation orders) or advised to be ready to do so (evacuation warnings), as officials plan to deploy specially trained search dogs (K-9 units) capable of locating human remains amidst the debris.
A fire in the Pacific Palisades has burned down several celebrity homes, among them are dwellings belonging to Paris Hilton, Jeff Bridges, Anthony Hopkins, John Goodman, James Woods, Miles Teller, and Chris’ former wife Anna Faris.
Katherine, aged 35, and Chris, aged 45, possess a luxurious mansion located in Pacific Palisades. They acquired this property at a cost of $15.6 million back in 2021. However, they have yet to disclose if the house managed to withstand the recent fire incident.
On Wednesday, the pair were spotted in the exclusive celebrity area of Montecito, situated within Santa Barbara County, keeping a safe distance from the ongoing disaster happening in Los Angeles.

In 2019, Katherine, who is both the child of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver and a descendant of the Kennedy family, got married to Chris in Montecito.
Since then, the duo has been blessed with three kids: their four-year-old girls Lyla and Eloise, along with their newborn son, Ford, who joined them last November.
Apart from that, Chris shares parenting responsibilities for his 12-year-old boy, Jack Pratt, with his former spouse, Anna Faris. They got married in 2009 but parted ways in 2017.
In 2018, Katherine and Chris purchased a residence in Pacific Palisades, and they put it up for sale in 2023, priced at $32 million, following extensive renovations.
The renovation was extensive enough that the initial 2023 plan had to revise the date of construction for the modernized house, stating it as 2021 instead.
In June of this year, it was revealed that the couple significantly reduced their asking price for their vast property by over $6 million, now listing it at $25,495,000.
In October, just as Katherine was preparing to give birth to her third child, they completely removed the property from the market for sale.
A source close to the matter shared with Realtor.com that Katherine is soon to welcome another child, after which they plan to move. At present, they are preparing their house for sale and intend to re-list it either in January or early February.
