Courtney Stodden breaks down in tears as LA fires threaten her brand-new marital home: ‘Smoke has filled lungs’

Bikini pinup, actress and reality TV star Courtney Stodden has a new home in Los Angeles.

The reality TV personality had inhabited the place for roughly a month, but starting from Tuesday, the approaching wildfires posed a risk of destroying it.

Her property is located off of the Pacific Coast Highway near the Pacific Palisades. 

The striking woman has been nervously anticipating whether the fire will reach her, as she shared with DailyMail.com.

She shared with DailyMail.com, through tears, that she had spent the entire night on edge due to evacuation warnings and heavy smoke. Despite choosing to remain there, they’re safe, yet the poor air quality is causing her considerable distress.

Inhaling smoke, I’ve been coughing persistently, and my eyes are on the verge of tears… My former home, sadly, lies in ashes after being burned down completely.

‘I see the fires glow from my new home, safe yet ready for evacuation.’

1. “Seeing the suffering of wildlife just tears me apart. We live in the City of Angels. Let’s send our prayers,” she concluded.

2. “It saddens me deeply to witness the hardships faced by wild animals. As residents of the City of Angels, let us unite in prayer.”

Both versions convey the same message with a slight change in tone and structure but maintain the original meaning while being easy to read and understand.

1. “Many thanks to the first responders for their quick actions. The aftermath is severe; let’s hope for the best. May the storm subside quickly, and everyone stays safe. It’s important to note that about 95% of all fires are caused by humans.” (Informal)

And she is worried about  her pets as she can look at the fire from her backyard. 

If that fire spreads towards me, located just over the hill from the destruction we’ve seen so far, I’m fully prepared to move my beloved pets to safety.

On Thursday, firefighters fought valiantly against a string of significant fires breaking out across the Los Angeles region. These fires have tragically claimed five lives, destroyed neighborhoods stretching from the Pacific Ocean to Pasadena, and forced over 5,000 residents to urgently evacuate their homes.

The intense winds, which fueled the fires and caused disorderly evacuations, seem to have subsided a bit and are predicted not to be as potent throughout the day. This might give firefighters an opportunity to advance in their efforts to control the wildfires that have leaped over various areas of the vast region, including significant ones in Pacific Palisades and Altadena.

It’s clear now: The extent of damage in certain areas, following the fire, can be vividly seen when comparing satellite photos taken before and after the incident.

Approximately 250 houses in a peaceful neighborhood of Altadena, adorned with lush green foliage and sparkling blue swimming pools, were turned into ruins. A handful of homes remained intact, while some continued to burn as seen in images captured by Maxar Technologies.

Approximately 70 houses along the edge of the Pacific Ocean in Malibu seemed to have suffered significant damage, with only around ten appearing undamaged or intact.

Toward the end of December, she was spotted lounging in a bright periwinkle-blue bikini in her own yard. Specifically, she was captured near an outdoor swimming pool while striking poses for something.

She had her golden locks loose in a messy, just-woke-up style, opting for minimal makeup. The ex-child bride from numerous reality series captioned her post as ‘City Winter❄️ #westcoast.’

Recently, the woman originally from Washington made public comments that hinted at her return, focusing on her resilience and determination after the controversy surrounding her teenage marriage more than a decade past.

 Stodden’s note to her Insta Stories was powerful.

‘She’s coming back to herself… Look at her,’ began the passage.

She has skillfully navigated every aspect of her life. She’s a diligent worker, she’s robust, she’s driven, she’s tenacious. She’s authentic and faithful.

‘If someone fails to appreciate her unique contributions, they don’t truly deserve her. She’s recognizing her self-worth. She’s choosing to live according to her own rules. She’s returning to her true identity.’

Stodden may have been discussing her reclaiming strength following a tough period, as she copes with the fallout from the controversy surrounding her teenage marriage to a well-known actor.

In 2011, at a wedding chapel in Las Vegas, a young woman of only 16 years old exchanged vows with Hutchison, who was already 51 years old.

Due to her being a minor, Courtney’s parents had to sign off on the union.

Courtney clarified to UsWeekly that her brief marriage in Las Vegas, which happened when she was only 16, occurred so quickly that she didn’t have time to fully comprehend it due to its unexpectedness.

Following their wedding in November, which took place at Casa de Monte Vista hotel in Palm Springs, California, she is now wed to film producer Jared Safier, who is 41 years old.

It was in a ‘last-minute’ ceremony, she said.

The beauty told Us Weekly that she said ‘I do’ in a vintage white wedding dress that cost $60,000.

As it descended, it boasted slender pasta-like straps and revealed a significant amount due to its deep neckline, showcasing her tattoos on her lower side.

Previously known for her stint on reality television, this individual sported her long, golden tresses loose, while adorning them with an exceptionally lengthy, semi-transparent veil edged with intricate lace details on the sides.

To add a sentimental touch, Alex Stodden presented his daughter with the wedding ring that he had given to Krista Keller on their wedding day. Unfortunately, Alex and Krista are no longer in a relationship.

It was an intimate affair with just 20 guests in attendance.

In the summer of 2023, Courtney started dating an Emmy-winning television producer whom she met while working on a movie production. By June 2024, they had become engaged.

She shared with the media that she and Jared believe this is the ideal moment to tie the knot because both of their families are in Los Angeles for the Thanksgiving celebrations.

As a devoted companion, I found myself in a state where our future was undefined by a specific wedding date. Following their heartfelt vow exchange, Courtney and Jared delighted their attendees with a vegan feast during the reception.

In a spontaneous turn of events, it seemed fitting for the free-spirited Courtney to tie the knot at short notice.

She expressed that she has always been a person who values freedom deeply, and this characteristic is unlikely to change following her upcoming marriage. She felt that the timing was perfect, and everything seemed to fall into place, which is why she decided to make this move.

Courtney said she’s ‘excited’ to be married again and gushed that Jared ‘lights up’ her life.

Courtney pondered back on the moment they initially encountered, as well as Jared’s response after she advised him against developing feelings for her.

She said he seemed surprised, even bewildered, and exclaimed, “Really? You can’t fall in love with me during a business meeting?!” However, she admitted that if this man were to develop feelings for her, she would be in trouble because she felt an unexplainable attraction toward him. She remembered their first kiss as if it was our 80th, and for her, it was her very first kiss with him.

I’ve never encountered anything quite like this before, and it seemed as if there were an unvoiced emotion behind it. It felt right, like I was exactly where I belonged. Strangely enough, I sensed that I was meant to be with him, and I simply feel that I should continue being with him. Everything seems to be happening smoothly yet chaotically.
