American Bluey enthusiasts are perplexed following the revelation about what Australians refer to a widely recognized retail outlet.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I found myself swept up in a wave of nostalgia when revisiting the beloved third-season episode “TV Shop” of that globally adored children’s animation show. The excitement among viewers was palpable and contagious!
In a thrilling turn of events, I found myself utterly captivated as Bluey and Bingo danced around, turning their playtime into an exciting adventure at the local Pharmacy Warehouse, where they were busy exploring the mysterious world of CCTV cameras!
Nevertheless, American viewers found themselves perplexed upon hearing Bingo refer to a pharmacy as a “chemist,” which is a common expression from Australia instead.
On Facebook, an American posed a curious query: ‘I’m just wondering, do Australians often refer to pharmacists as “chemists”, similar to the way Bandit’s character did on the TV show Pharmacy?’
Australians subsequently addressed the comments, explaining that ‘chemist’ is a frequently used term for a pharmacy in their region, expressing surprise at the misunderstanding.

As a devoted fan, I can confidently say that, based on Nielsen’s surveys, Bluey has consistently ranked among the top ten streaming shows in the U.S. since last October.
In over 60 different nations, the beloved animated series Bluey can be found airing. All three seasons of this Emmy-winning show are accessible for viewing on ABC iview.
Since its debut on screens in 2018, this acclaimed animated show has grown to be a beloved choice among both children and their parents.
Recently, BBC Studios and The Walt Disney Company revealed plans to debut Bluey’s initial animated feature movie in cinemas. This project will be penned and guided by the show’s creator, Joe Brumm.
