Netflix’s Missing You star almost missed out on role

Missing You star Rosalind Eleazar has revealed she almost missed out on the leading role.

On The One Show, alongside co-star Richard Armitage (January 7), the actor shared memories of how the audition for the Harlan Coben drama coincided with her wedding. She had requested her agent to postpone any new job proposals during that time.

She shared that she tied the knot last year, asking for a bit of distance during her wedding, just as one might expect. The day following her wedding, as she was preparing for her honeymoon, she received an email.

“They said ‘I’m really sorry Roz, you’re going to have to take a look at this’.”

During our honeymoon, I immersed myself in Harlan Coben’s book, which made my husband quite pleased. He enjoyed himself immensely, as he put it jokingly.

However, I couldn’t help but be delighted with my decision, as the book is truly captivating. I finished it in a single sitting and let me tell you, the last chapter is mind-blowing, especially if you haven’t read it yet. Frankly, I never thought the story was heading in that direction.

The show titled “Missing You” made its debut on Netflix on New Year’s Day and has continued Harlan Coben’s streak of successful adaptations. At present, it sits atop Netflix’s list of most-watched TV shows.

Hey there! When asked about some tidbits for the upcoming gaming season, I, Eleazar, had to keep quite a bit under wraps.

She playfully commented, “I’m part of it,” then winked and mentioned, “The story veers slightly from the original novel. All I can share is that Louisa experiences an unexpected twist.

The TV series “Slow Horses” was given the green light for a fifth season before its fourth season even premiered in September. Not long after the finale of season four, AppleTV+ officially announced a sixth season.
