55-year-old actress once married to the 52-year-old Batman actor finalized their divorce this past Monday, a mere five months following their unexpected separation which occurred on the anniversary of their second marriage.
Now, a source close to Lopez has revealed that she’s looking ahead to a new chapter in 2025.
According to the source, what was supposed to be a delightful fairy tale for her ended up becoming a terrible nightmare.

Following the agreement, DailyMail.com disclosed that Lopez will retain the 10-carat emerald cut green diamond engagement ring from Ben, reportedly valued at an astonishing $5 million.
This distinctive ring boasts both rarity and worth, showcasing a substantial green diamond right in the middle, surrounded by two long, slender baguette diamonds, and with a pair of trapezoid diamonds on either end that perfectly complement it.
Not only did it turn out to be true, but TMZ also verified that Lopez will continue to keep all the other pieces of jewelry Ben presented to her throughout their time together as well.
It appears that Lopez’s jewelry collection, particularly her engagement ring assortment, is quite substantial – she currently owns no less than five additional engagement rings.
These encompass presents received from her ex-spouses Ojani Noa, Cris Judd, Marc Anthony, as well as her former fiancé, Alex Rodriguez. Notably, she also has a gift from her initial engagement with Affleck.

In early 2021, their love rekindled, approximately four weeks following Jennifer Lopez’s termination of her engagement with Alex Rodriguez.
According to TMZ, who was the initial source of this news, it’s been reported that Ben Affleck will continue to own a share in their jointly established production company, Artists Equity, which he founded alongside his long-term friend Matt Damon back in 2022.
The company has been behind projects like Air, The Accountant Part 2, and Unstoppable.
During their marriage, Lopez has been keeping himself occupied with several projects like Shotgun Wedding, This Is Me… Now, and The Mother.
Through the mediation conducted by well-known divorce attorney Laura Wasser, it’s disclosed that Lopez intends to revert back to using her birth name, Jennifer Lynn Lopez, leaving behind the Affleck surname.
Over the course of their careers, both stars have accumulated a significant fortune, primarily from success in entertainment, smart investments, and lucrative brand deals, among other ventures.
On an interesting turn of events the day preceding the Golden Globe Awards, Lopez was observed paying a visit to Affleck’s residence. Notably, she also extended a warm embrace to Affleck’s 12-year-old son, Samuel.
