In the game, Gato is a relentless combatant, driven by revenge against his father, Gao, following an intense assault that came close to robbing him of his sight. While his vision has largely returned, Gato feels it hinders him. Consequently, he now engages in battles completely blindfolded.

Learning about the imminent King of Fighters (KOF) competition, Gato makes a comeback to the battlefield. His motivation? A face-off with his dad.

FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves release date

SNK has revealed that FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves will launch on April 24, 2025. This upcoming game will be playable across various platforms such as PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series gaming systems.

Beyond Gato, the following characters are also confirmed in FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves: Kim Dong Hwan, Rock Howard, Terry Bogard, B.
