Brett Ratner directs Melania Trump documentary on Prime Video
Filmmaker Brett Ratner has returned to directing after some time away, this time focusing on a documentary about Melania Trump. His latest project marks his first film since claims of inappropriate behavior towards several women, including actress Olivia Munn, surfaced nearly a decade ago.
This upcoming documentary, now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video, is set to hit both movie theaters and their streaming service later in the year. The production of this film is credited to Fernando Sulichin from New Element Media and Trump.
Amazon expressed their enthusiasm by saying, ‘We can’t wait to reveal this extraordinary tale to our countless global customers,’ on Sunday.

Natasha Henstridge was watching a movie on Brett Ratner’s couch when she fell asleep.
Amazon, along with a Trump representative, failed to provide an immediate explanation on why Ratner was chosen as director for the film or past sexual misconduct accusations leveled against him. Renowned for his works such as “Rush Hour,” “X-Men: The Last Stand” and “The Family Man,” Ratner is the individual under scrutiny here.
During a 2018 interview with ABC News, the former first lady expressed the view that individuals making accusations of harassment should present evidence to support their claims.
She expressed to the media outlet that it’s inappropriate to bluntly tell someone, “I was sexually assaulted,” or “you did that to me,” since the media sometimes sensationalizes stories and their portrayal may not be accurate or fair.
2017 reports from The Times detailed accusations of sexual misconduct against Ratner. These claims encompassed a model’s assertion that she was coerced into performing oral sex on him, as well as an actor’s observation of Ratner masturbating and ejaculating in his trailer when she entered.
Ratner’s attorney, Martin Singer, disputed the accounts to The Times in 2017.
In 2017, Singer stated to The Times that Mr. Ratner had never been accused by a woman of sexual misconduct or harassment over the past two decades. Additionally, he noted that neither had any woman asked for or received a monetary settlement from his client.

As a keen enthusiast, let me share a captivating tale about Keri Claessen Khalighi, who hailed from a quaint farming community in Nebraska. At a chance encounter during a casting audition, the young 17-year-old model crossed paths with Brett Ratner and Russell Simmons, two influential figures in the industry.
After The Times reported on the allegations, Ratner experienced a setback in his career.
2017 saw Warner Bros. ending their relationship with a controversial filmmaker and announcing they wouldn’t renew their production contract with Ratner. Simultaneously, Diageo, the liquor company, stopped producing Ratner’s whiskey line, Hillhaven Lodge, which was named after his Beverly Hills mansion.

A New York court has determined that Donald Trump is responsible for sexually assaulting author E. Jean Carroll, and they have ruled that he must compensate her with a sum of $5 million.
2017 saw Ratner filing a defamation suit against a woman who alleged rape against him. However, he decided to withdraw this lawsuit in 2018.
Currently, Amazon – established by Jeff Bezos, a billionaire who recently conversed with President-elect Donald Trump – has communicated to the Associated Press that they will contribute $1 million towards Trump’s inaugural fund and will broadcast the January 20th ceremony on their streaming service, which is valued at an additional $1 million as an in-kind donation.
