Ferne McCann teases she wants more children with fiancé Lorri Haines – after being forced to hit back at split claims

Ferne McCann hinted that she desires additional children with partner Lorri Haines, only a few weeks following rumors about their separation needing clarification.

Previously on TOWIE, the actress, now 34 years old, refuted allegations from last November suggesting she had split from Lorri, who is also 33. They were said to have had a significant argument, but both parties reportedly agreed on nothing being the cause of it.

In their family setup, the couple has a shared 16-month-old daughter named Finty. Additionally, Ferne is a mom to a 6-year-old daughter, Sunday, from a past relationship. Similarly, Lorri has a son from a previous partnership.

As an overjoyed member of our wonderful five-person family, which includes Lorri’s son from her past, I can’t help but share our exciting future plans with you all. At the moment, I feel incredibly fortunate and grateful. Yet, I can’t shake off the feeling that there’s more to come for us as a blended family.

Recently, Ferne shared that, even though they’ve been going through some challenging periods, she and Lorri have an unbreakable bond and are stronger than ever.

The television host, preparing for her upcoming performance on Dancing On Ice, expressed her disappointment over unexpected breakup speculations. She shared that they are working hard to maintain their relationship, navigating through the challenges of managing their respective careers and a combined family.

She shared with OK! magazine about the break-up rumors: “My heart fell – I even had relatives inquiring about our situation. However, everything is fine between us. At times, we feel compelled to explain ourselves because, you know, every relationship experiences its highs and lows.

In simple terms, I find myself in what seems to be my initial significant relationship. It’s quite complex, as we both have our businesses to manage and children to nurture. We form a unique family, with an assortment of distinct personalities. Rest assured, we aren’t always bubbly and optimistic, but we strongly support each other in navigating life together.

She remarked on their hectic existence: ‘Managing several children is a challenge. Both of us are occupied with work, and it’s similar to any household – it’s all about keeping everything running smoothly. Occasionally, we may not cross paths much if he’s at the office and I’m working, making it rather difficult.’

Later, she admitted that she struggled with the negative comments she saw on social media, as they tended to grab her attention. However, she emphasized that she’s developed a resilient exterior over the years, having been in the industry for so long.

She mentioned that despite the whispers of a separation, she chose not to worry unduly and instead decided to put it aside and continue on with her life.

Previously, Ferne and her partner Lorri openly shared that they sleep in different rooms, a decision made after consulting an intimacy expert last year.

Indeed, Ferne has verified that the pair have reunited in their shared bedroom and have been rekindling their emotional bond.

She elaborated: ‘It’s crucial to make it a priority when you have kids; it often gets pushed aside. With our new addition and our busy schedule, we found ourselves neglecting intimacy. However, now we prioritize it, and open communication is vital. Occasionally, you get opportunities for quality time together.’

Even though they got engaged three years ago, Ferne openly stated that she and her partner aren’t hurrying to tie the knot because organizing a wedding is a massive undertaking, and she has other important matters to attend to during this significant year.

In light of her upcoming appearance on Dancing On Ice and other commitments ahead, Ferne made it clear that she doesn’t believe she can handle the “extra pressure” of organizing a wedding in 2025. This implies that they might choose to get married in 2026 instead.
