Reverse: 1999 2.5th Anniversary Version 3.4 update: Character Banners
I’m so excited for version 3.4! It’s bringing some awesome new characters. First up, in Phase 1, we’re getting Paper Heron, and then in Phase 2, it’s Cheng Heguang! I can’t wait to try them both out.
Phase 1 New Limited 6-Star Character: Paper Heron
Paper Heron is a powerful swordswoman who follows the Daoist path and is traveling to bring harmony back to the world. She’s a new, limited-time character with a 6-star rating, and you can try to summon her through the special ‘Her Heart-Cut Spring’ banner. This banner also offers bonus summons, and Paper Heron will be available to obtain until May 28, 2026.
Phase 2 New 6-Star Character: Cheng Heguang
Starting May 7, 2026, a new character named Cheng Heguang will be available! This powerful 6-star character is dedicated to justice and can be summoned through the Soaring Aspirations banner, which will be active until May 28, 2026.

Free rewards in Reverse: 1999 Version 3.4 Update
What’s a celebration without freebies? Reverse: 1999 is offering lots of rewards during its anniversary event, and here’s what you can get:
- You’ll get 10 free summons daily, totalling 100 pulls.
- You can collect the free garment for Noire.
- The Selectable Artifice system allows you to pick a high-tier equipment.

As a big fan, I’m excited to hear that there are even more ways to get rewards! Apparently, they’re having community events and things online where you can earn up to 1,000 Clear Drops. Definitely planning on checking those out!
