I’ve recently discovered yet another mobile game based on the Three Kingdoms period, and honestly, I’ve lost track of how many I’ve reviewed this year! It’s not really a surprise, though – the Three Kingdoms era offers everything players want: exciting strategy battles and famous characters. What’s really impressive is the number of developers and studios working with this platform, including GRAVITY, Tilting Point, Loongcheer Game, Com2uS, and many others. It’s also fascinating to see the wide variety of game genres they’ve explored.
Games such as Three Kingdoms: World Conquest and Three Kingdoms: Overlord are leading the way with a focus on strategic gameplay – think planning, real-time tactics, and empire building. However, the genre isn’t limited to just strategy; games like Kingdoms of Desire are also blending in elements like anime-style characters, simple RPG mechanics, and even romantic storylines set in a school environment.
