As a longtime fan and admirer of Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, I was absolutely blown away by her NFL Christmas halftime performance! Growing up in Texas, I’ve always been a proud Houstonian, but seeing Beyoncé shine on that stage, representing her hometown with such grace and power, was truly a sight to behold.

On Christmas Day, Beyoncé confidently shone on stage during the captivating NFL half-time show at Houston’s NRG Stadium, and the reviews from critics were overwhelmingly positive.

43-year-old R&B sensation captivated spectators hailing from her birthplace, Texas, as the Houston Texans, their hometown team, squared off against – but ultimately fell to – the Baltimore Ravens.

For her 13-minute stage show, Beyoncé put on an impressive performance, singing a series of eight songs from her Cowboy Carter album. She was accompanied by numerous dancers, horses, and even made a special appearance with her 12-year-old child, Blue Ivy.

Although the presentation received some unfavorable feedback, critics generally praised the production, calling Beyoncé’s performance “awe-inspiring” and a “spectacular” demonstration of her new album.

Despite the cowboy-themed spectacle premiering on Netflix on Christmas Day, one critic labeled the show as “feeling more like a Piña Colada on the beach rather than a holiday special,” indicating the absence of traditional holiday cheer.

Ben Beaumont-Thomas from The Guardian gave her a rating of four stars, praising Beyoncé by stating that although Beyoncé sometimes appears stiff or regal in live performances, she appeared more relaxed during the Renaissance world tour and continues to deliver an exciting and versatile performance here.

She struts confidently along the rows of brass musicians and dancers, her eyes wide with excitement, her gestures mimicking a form of testification in a playful manner that echoes the style of Black artists such as Little Richard and Janelle Monáe.

At half-time shows, there’s always an abundance of performances, more so than Thanksgiving turkeys. However, it soon turns into a layered medley of popular hits: a megamix that blends House music, Riverdance, and Sweet Honey in the Rock with a special appearance by Shaboozey.

Indeed, The Telegraph’s Ed Power agrees to Beyoncé’s incredible performance skills, hailing her Christmas Day show ‘eye-popping, mind-blowing, toe-tapping’, however, he was quick to add that the performance was ‘as “Christmassy” as a Piña Colada on the beach’.

In another place, Lindsay Zoldadz from The New York Times pointed out that Beyoncé’s ‘joyful’ show was a stark ‘contrast’ to the cool response she experienced during her exploration into country music. She emphasized how the singer conveyed a message that ‘everyone was invited’.

She went on to say of the high-energy show: ‘The impressive production, announced at the top as Beyoncé Bowl, seemed to employ a supporting cast that rivaled a cinematic blockbuster.

For the majority of its 13-minute duration, the stage was filled with musicians, dancers, and an array of extras, all dressed in radiant white. This abundance conveyed a message. Despite her reputation for monumental solitude as a solo artist and her bold poses under the spotlight, Beyoncé presented a more communal aspect of herself during this performance that felt incredibly generous, eager to share the experience.

According to Variety’s Steven J. Horowitz, the performer’s initial live performance of her Cowboy Carter album was a skillfully executed journey through select tracks from her extensive work.

He added: ‘It’s a challenge to top even your most arresting performances, yet Beyoncé repeatedly manages to outdo herself.’

As a devoted fan, I couldn’t help but be captivated by Beyoncé’s commendable endeavors, and it seems the social media sphere, once known as Twitter, resonates with this sentiment. Here, fans have been expressing their admiration and thoughts on her latest work.

They wrote: ‘I’ve recently witnessed a lasting, legendary Emmy and Grammy award-deserving show and act by the artist #Beyonce. Wow, just wow!’, or more casually, ‘I just caught a mind-blowing, iconic performance that deserves both an Emmy and a Grammy from Beyonce. Wow!’

“I can’t figure out why there are so many posts criticizing Beyoncé’s performance. She seemed to be enjoying herself immensely, and it appeared as if she was thrilled to be back in her home state of Texas.

I’m still blown away by the incredible quality of the halftime performance… There simply isn’t another artist quite like her… Without a doubt, she stands as the best female performer ever… She is undeniably incomparable.

At the NFL Christmas break show, Beyoncé and her daughter Blue Ivy enchanting us with their ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ performance was truly magical. There’s no doubt that great skill resides within their family’s ranks.

To be completely open, I’m thrilled about living near where Beyoncé resides. There’s simply no one else who can match her unique talent, and I must face the fact that nobody will ever replace her. She embodies the very definition of an exceptional music artist and is nothing short of legendary!

As the figures for viewership are revealed for Beyoncé Knowles-Carter’s NFL Christmas halftime show, which took place at NRG Stadium in her home city of Houston.

In a recent statement, Netflix disclosed on Thursday that approximately 27 million U.S. residents watched the live performance by the 43-year-old pop sensation, which consisted of a 15-minute medley featuring eight songs – as reported by Nielsen.

24.3 million people, on average, tuned in during each minute of the football match where the Baltimore Ravens decisively beat the Houston Texans 31-2.

Contrary to that year, Beyoncé accumulated a significantly larger sum of approximately 110.8 million dollars in the year 2013, primarily due to her performance at Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans together with her Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

In the year 2016, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter achieved an even greater milestone – earning approximately 115.5 million dollars. This was during her performance at Super Bowl 50, where she teamed up with headliners Coldplay in Santa Clara, California. Alongside featured guests Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson, they delivered a remarkable show.

Compared to other programs, the broadcast of Super Bowl LVIII on February 11 attracted a record-breaking audience of 129.3 million viewers, making it the most viewed TV program in American history. This event was particularly noteworthy as Usher put on an impressive rollerskating performance in Paradise, NV.

32-time Grammy award recipient invited her 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, to take up backup dancing roles, while Post Malone and Shaboozey joined forces with her for a performance on stage.

In a bold move that’s typically prohibited on an NFL field, Queen Bey made a finger-gun gesture and followed it up with a large “Bang” sign being unveiled below her stage. This action certainly turned some heads.

Later this week, the Beyoncé Special will become accessible to all Netflix users as a separate feature.
