Brooklyn Beckham posts a loved-up video with his wife Nicola Peltz in Malibu as his family put on a united front to rally around Victoria in Paris after his scathing statement

Brooklyn Beckham showed his love for his wife, Nicola Peltz, by sharing a sweet video of them together on TikTok on Monday.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following the news about Brooklyn Beckham, and it’s quite a situation. He recently shared a very personal six-page statement where he openly discussed his strained relationship with his parents, David and Victoria. He alleges they’ve been controlling, and even tried to interfere with his marriage, causing him significant humiliation. It’s a really tough family dynamic playing out publicly, and highlights the challenges even high-profile families face.

While the rest of the Beckham family was in Paris cheering on Victoria, who received a prestigious award for her contributions to the arts, their son Brooklyn showed his support in a different way.

Just hours after his family publicly showed a united front following his recent harsh comments, a video showcasing highlights from his trip to Malibu with Nicola was shared online.

Brooklyn Beckham publicly reaffirmed his love for Nicola Peltz, 31, with a heartfelt message set to Coldplay’s “Yellow,” simply stating, “I love you Nicola Anne Peltz Beckham.”

The couple strolled along Malibu Beach with their dog, Lamb, sharing meals and celebrating with champagne.

Despite recently causing Victoria significant distress with a surprising announcement, Brooklyn appeared relaxed and happy, showing no outward signs of trouble in their marriage.

People commented things like ‘A happy spouse means a happy life!’ and ‘Family is everything – always support them.’

‘Beautiful. Great song choice as well Wish you both well. Be happy xx’

However, others followers said they were on ‘team Beckham’.

Victoria was joined in Paris by her husband David, their sons Romeo and Cruz, and daughter Harper for the event. Romeo and Cruz each brought their girlfriends, Kim Turnbull and Jackie Apostel, and Victoria also had several close friends present.

The Beckhams seemed intent on not letting their personal issues distract from Victoria’s moment in the spotlight, as she received a prestigious award from the French Ministry of Culture.

This award honors artists, writers, and cultural leaders for their impact on the arts and literature. Past winners include well-known names like Zoe Saldaña, Selena Gomez, Jude Law, and Denis Villeneuve.

During her acceptance speech, the Spice Girl lovingly thanked her children, saying they always supported her dreams, even after her son Brooklyn recently made harsh criticisms.

Standing before a crowd of famous faces, with her family watching proudly, Victoria began her speech by thanking the French Ministry of Culture and Minister Rachida Dati for the honor and their kind words. She expressed her deep gratitude.

As a Brit, I’m incredibly proud of my heritage, but I have to say, France really gets fashion. It’s one of the few places where it’s truly seen and celebrated as an art form, and that level of appreciation is something special.

She also expressed gratitude to her business collaborators and team at Victoria Beckham, and to her husband of 26 years and children.

She emphasized that this success wasn’t hers alone, but the result of teamwork. From the designers and workshop to the production and communication teams, many people contributed their skills and effort. She expressed her gratitude to her amazing team for their hard work, innovative ideas, and belief in her.

David looked incredibly proud as he watched, and his son Cruz showed his support by placing a hand on his shoulder. Victoria thanked David for understanding her dedication to the business and for helping her create something they could both be proud of.

‘Thank you to my parents and to my children who are always believing in my vision,’ she continued.

Since the influencer’s claims – that he was dominated by a family prioritizing publicity and that his relationship with Nicola Peltz has brought him peace and eased his severe anxiety – the Beckhams have remained publicly quiet.

He claimed Victoria unexpectedly stopped working on his future wife’s wedding dress right before the wedding, and then disrupted their first dance by dancing suggestively with him in front of all the guests.

Sources say Victoria felt hurt and betrayed by Brooklyn, especially considering she’d spent years shielding him from negative publicity and rumors.

According to Daily Mail reporter Katie Hind, the Beckhams quickly worked to protect their son Brooklyn when rumors and stories about his personal life – including claims about his romantic relationships and associations with questionable people – began to appear.

His parents have often instructed expensive lawyers to protect him against such stories.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m hearing that David and Victoria are truly upset by everything happening right now. Apparently, they’d move back to Brooklyn immediately if they could – they’re really heartbroken by the recent events, and it’s clear they feel a strong connection to the area.

After Brooklyn spoke about his mother taking over his first dance, the wedding DJ, Fat Tony, shared the full story on the show This Morning.

The 60-year-old described the dance as very uncomfortable and said Nicola left the reception while crying.

According to Tony, a close friend of the Beckhams, Marc Anthony was responsible for an awkward moment. He said Anthony pulled Victoria and her son onto the dance floor and told the son to ‘put your hands on your mother’s hips’.

He said: ‘There was no sl*t-dropping, there was no PVC cat suits, no Spice Girl action!

‘The word “inappropriate”, why I said it was as well, it was the timing, this is what happened.’

Tony explained that Marc Anthony was performing when he invited a person named Brooklyn up on stage.

Brooklyn took the stage, and everyone immediately anticipated Nicola would be next for the first dance. Then, Marc surprised everyone by asking the most beautiful woman in the room – Victoria – to join him on stage.

He shared that Brooklyn appeared deeply upset that he danced with Victoria instead of his wife, and Nicola was reportedly left in tears after the dance.

Tony continued, explaining that Brooklyn was on stage performing a dance when Marc Anthony instructed everyone to ‘put your hands on your mother’s hips.’ It was a culturally specific move that made the whole situation feel very uncomfortable for those watching.

I’ve worked many events for the Beckham family, and they’re a very close and lively group who really enjoy dancing. What some might consider inappropriate isn’t how Brooklyn sees things.

It all comes down to Brooklyn’s perspective. If he felt uncomfortable with something, then it was, for him, uncomfortable.

It’s disappointing that people have focused on this one part of what was said and ignored everything else that happened.
