Companies known as Good Smile Company and NEO Works have unveiled their upcoming social game titled “NEKOPARA Sekai Connect”, planned for release on Android, iOS, and PC devices in Japan during the Spring of 2026. On a different note, Yostar Games’ anime-style cat romance simulation game, “Nekoparaiten”, has been unfortunately canceled. However, Yostar Games will join forces with NEO Works and Good Smile Company to help promote this new project instead.

NEKOPARA Sekai Connect is a humorous social game featuring cats, which has been thoughtfully designed by Sayori, the mastermind behind the popular NEKOPARA series. This new installment expands upon the cherished romance adventure series of NEKOPARA, having sold over 6.5 million copies worldwide. In this game, you’ll meet a variety of captivating Live2D catgirls from around the world, along with all your favorite feline friends from the original games.

It turns out that all the catgirls who initially intended for Nekoparaiten will now be featured in NEKOPARA Sekai Connect! In case you weren’t aware, Yostar Games has been working on Nekoparaiten since 2019. Originally, it was meant to be part of the NEKOPARA series, but regrettably, the game’s development had to be halted. However, there’s some exciting news! Yostar Games, in collaboration with Good Smile Company and NEKO WORKs, will be promoting NEKOPARA Sekai Connect on a global scale.

I’m really looking forward to the upcoming game, even though it starts in Japan first. My affection for cats and all things cute is well-known, and this game seems tailor-made for me! It has five schools, each with its own unique ambiance, populated by charming catgirls with distinct personalities. The characters, especially Quince, Yuzu, and Palmyra, are visually stunning. I can’t wait to get my hands on this game once it’s released.
