Khloe Kardashian reveals why she and her two kids are skipping the legendary Kardashian Christmas Eve party

As a lifestyle expert who has had the privilege of attending some of the most extravagant events in Hollywood, I must say that the Kardashian-Jenner Christmas Eve bash is an event to remember. The glitz, the glamour, and the star power are unparalleled. However, as a parent, it’s always heartbreaking when illness keeps you from these memorable moments with your children.

This year, Khloe Kardashian shared the reason behind their decision not to attend the well-known Kardashian Christmas Eve party, along with herself and her two children.

Originally started as a small, family affair by Kris Jenner in 1987, the yearly event has since transformed into a high-glamour, celebrity-filled occasion.

More recently, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian have been alternating as hosts, each event adorned with elaborate themes, opulent decorations, and inviting only the most prominent celebrities.

However, this year, Khloe and her children True (age 6) and Tatum (age 2), who she co-parents with ex Tristan Thompson, are currently not participating due to an ailment they’re dealing with.

She wrote on Instagram just a few hours before the event: “Tatum has been ill all weekend, and now my little one is unwell too. For the first time in a while, we won’t be able to celebrate Christmas Eve with everyone due to their illness. I feel so sorry for my children who are under the weather.

She added, ‘No fun, but I pray we are fine for Santa tomorrow!!!’

It was announced by Kim that this year’s Christmas Eve celebration will be a less extravagant event, differing from the grand parties held in past years.

Kim mentioned that this year’s event would have a smaller, more personal feel because of ongoing renovation work.

In an interview with Vogue, Kim expressed her enthusiasm about a smaller, more intimate family-oriented event they are hosting due to ongoing construction.

However, that won’t stop the family getting all glammed up.

Kim added: ‘Still dressing up to the nines, because that’s what we do.’

The creator of Skims, who shares North (age 11), Saint (9), Chicago (6), and five-year-old Psalm with her former partner Kanye West, remarks that their gatherings are so renowned that even the friends of their children often express a desire to join in.

She has vowed to keep the festive family tradition going.

I can hardly contain my excitement! We’ve only just started, and our children are already smitten. To top it off, all their friends are eagerly asking to join in the fun. This tradition of ours is turning out to be nothing short of extraordinary!

One of the only times it was cancelled was amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The star-studded gathering we had last year took place at Kim’s residence, with Paris Hilton gracing our presence among the guests.

Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Kim has started dating again.

The reality star split from comedian Pete Davidson, 31, in late 2022 after nine months together.

Kim got wedded to Damon Thomas between the years 2000 and 2004, and later tied the knot with Kris Humphries for just 72 days in the year 2011.

The businesswoman was married to rapper Kanye from 2014 until 2022.
