Karl Stefanovic’s wife Jasmine reduced to tears on the floor over shock Christmas present
As a dedicated fan who has closely followed Karl Stefanovic’s life journey, I must say the latest turn of events is both amusing and relatable. It’s not every day you see a high-profile figure like Karl facing the same challenges as the rest of us – in this case, the daunting task of assembling a 2000 piece Barbie dreamhouse on Christmas!
Karl Stefanovic’s wife Jasmine has been reduced to tears over a shock Christmas present.
A 40-year-old model posted on Instagram a picture showing her attempting to put together the 2000-piece Barbie Dreamhouse she received for Christmas.
Jasmine is found sitting near the scattered unbuilt toys, displaying a disheartened expression, evidently struggling to construct the playset after putting in considerable effort.
She captioned the picture with some hilarious words: ‘How fun’s Christmas thanks. Barbie dreamhouse comes in 2000 pieces.’
The Barbie Dreamhouse set includes approximately 75 components for you to build, which typically requires around 45 minutes to an hour to complete.
‘Thank God we said “don’t open it now”,’ quipped model Simone Holtznagel.
Meanwhile, Channel Seven presenter Abbey Gelmi posted a laughing emoji.
Karl and Jasmine, along with their children, divide their time between Sydney and Queensland.
They welcomed their daughter Harper in May 2020.
Apart from Harper, Karl is also the father of three grown-up kids – Jackson (aged 24), Willow (19 years old), and River (17) – whom he had with his ex-wife, Cassandra Thorburn.
Jasmine’s family are based in the Sunshine State, while Karl began his journalism career there.
The couple married in December 2018 in San José del Cabo, Mexico.
Earlier this month, the pair commenced work on their dream home on Sydney’s north shore.
The high profile couple are building a $4.5million luxury mansion in Castlecrag, 9km from the CBD.
In 2021, the host of Today’s show, who is 50 years old, along with his wife, a shoe designer, bought a spacious three-bedroom property from the ’60s for approximately $3.2 million.
Karl informed his Instagram followers that demolition work had started on the site.
Recently, images surfaced indicating that the old house’s roof has been entirely dismantled by the workers.
Aerial photographs also show that part of the property’s wall has been demolished.
The design for the couple’s upcoming residence encompasses four floors, complete with five bedrooms and five bathrooms each, as well as an outdoor swimming pool and hot tub area.
Among the notable features planned for the reconstruction are an outdoor courtyard, a recreational space, and a spacious three-car garage.
In March, Karl and Jasmine received approval from Willoughby Council to proceed with their renovation project, following a prolonged dispute over their initial application for development which had persisted for an entire year.
