Elizabeth Hurley, 59, wows in a PVC burgundy blazer dress as she shares behind the scenes video from latest sizzling photoshoot
As a devoted fan, witnessing Elizabeth Hurley‘s journey through the lens of time is nothing short of captivating. From her humble beginnings to her meteoric rise to stardom, she has consistently managed to captivate audiences with her charm, grace, and undeniable beauty.
As I strutted my stuff on the set of my latest photoshoot, I donned a striking, burgundy PVC blazer dress that accentuated my long legs – all captured in an Instagram post I shared on Monday. Elizabeth Hurley, if you’re wondering!
The actress, aged 59, was stunning in a noticeable outfit, complemented by black opaque stockings and tall, eye-catching green heels.
With her long, wavy locks flowing free while still damp, the stunning lady opted for a glamorous look featuring deep smoky eyeshadow and adorned herself with petite gold earrings.
In the lively video, Elizabeth appeared cheerful while she posed on a wooden crate, showcasing the number.
In another photo, she confidently struck multiple poses while gripping her striking high-heels, followed by holding onto her dress tightly.
She penned: ‘Xmas kisses to you all’
After Elizabeth announced that she no longer has contact with her former partner, Hugh Grant, following their rise to fame together at the premiere of his 1994 film “Four Weddings and a Funeral,” where she wore the iconic Versace dress.
As a lifestyle expert, I’d rephrase it like this: One moment I was an unknown face, the next – a familiar name echoing through households. This transformation came courtesy of an extravagant gown I wore, a stunning blend of black silk and Lycra, that made headlines around the world. The dress, held together by oversized safety pins, was none other than a prestigious loan from the Versace flagship store on Old Bond Street.
Similarly, just like Hugh, there was a notable transformation, both personally and professionally, due to his portrayal of the perpetually single Charles in director Richard Curtis’ romantic comedy.
Elizabeth attributes her former partner as being instrumental during a crucial period in her life, yet clarifies that they are no longer in direct contact. However, they continue to maintain a strong friendship post their friendly split back in 2000.
At the Bazaar At Work summit in London earlier this month, I found myself reminiscing about an unexpected turn of events. You see, I was alongside my former partner, Hugh Grant, going through similar experiences at the same time. Much like me, he had been diligently working and felt content with his progress, until the release of Four Weddings and a Funeral turned everything upside down – transforming him into an overnight sensation, a phenomenon.
The movie turned out to be an immense triumph, causing everything to shift dramatically. However, there were two of us involved, which I believe played a crucial role. When one is unexpectedly catapulted into the limelight, our lifestyles are typically unprepared for such attention.
She added: ‘You don’t have any protection. It was alarming. The press was much ruder back in the 90s and 2000s than it is now. I truly believe that people aren’t allowed to be as rude as they were then.
‘[I] think it gives you a bond when you sort of go to the trenches with someone. I mean, he’s married with five children. I hardly ever see him, but he’s still very close to my heart.’
Pondering over the memorable gown, which was graciously lent at the eleventh hour by Dean Aslett, then the Chief of Women’s Wear and Atelier at Versace, Hurley acknowledges that she was taken aback by the level of attention it garnered.
She reminisced, finding it peculiar. After spending several years in her career, she felt as though she had achieved considerable fame – she’d participated in various projects.
To my family, I appeared successful, yet I didn’t truly grasp the meaning of being in the public spotlight until it happened – and that revelation was quite unsettling for me mentally.
Currently shining brightly on her own, she’s assisting her son Damian, her sole child from a past relationship with American entrepreneur Steve Bing, in carving out a career as an up-and-coming movie director.
2023 saw the premiere of the debut feature film, Strictly Confidential, which was penned and orchestrated by a 22-year-old artist. However, its reception from critics wasn’t overwhelmingly positive.
A significant portion of the reviews focused on Elizabeth’s character, particularly the explicit lesbian love scene she shared with a woman three decades younger, which was directed by her own son in the movie.
She pointed out that it’s fascinating since she is a solitary parent and he is an only child, which means we naturally end up spending a considerable amount of time with each other.
As a child, he developed a strong interest in my line of work. At around nine or ten years old, he began creating still images and small movies. Upon receiving a camcorder from me, he cast me as the lead actor in all his productions.
In every production, I found myself portraying the Evil Queen. Not only was my mother involved, but so was Hugh, and even my former spouse. It seemed that everyone was required for his films, starting from infant roles all the way to mature productions as he advanced in his career.
To be honest, he’s essentially been guiding me for the past decade, so the situation hasn’t fundamentally altered. I had simply grown accustomed to it.
