Frankie Muniz alarms fans with cryptic social media post about friendship
As a longtime fan of classic TV sitcoms, I must say that the news about the return of “Malcolm in the Middle” has brought me immense joy! Growing up with this show was like having a quirky, dysfunctional family of my own – one that always made me laugh and feel understood.
Frankie Muniz‘s recent post on social media is causing some concern among his fans.
The actor and Hair Club spokesperson, 39, posted a cryptic message on X/Twitter writing, ‘Can’t sleep. Hard when you realize your friends aren’t really your friends.’
The racing star, bound by a deal to compete full-time in the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with Reaume Brothers Racing, remained vague about any potential act of deception that might have taken place.
His fans did their best to offer him some comfort.
‘I’d look at it the other way: It lets you know who your real friends are,’ one follower advised.
Another expressed concern: ‘Yo Frankie u good bro?’ they asked.
One fan offered their listening ear: ‘We met a long time ago. I think you are a good person and if you need someone to vent to I am here,’ one said.
Friend, upon coming across this, I felt the urge to share a few thoughts with you. I hope they find their way to you. Your family and a handful of close friends are all you truly need, prune the rest without any conflicts or explanations. Those who genuinely care about you appreciate you for who you are, not what you possess, will remain by your side.
Others offered to take care of the problem for him.
‘Give me their names and addresses,’ one offered, ‘I’ll take care of it,’ said another.
Some supporters playfully retorted, taking into account the actor’s occasional tendency to share melancholic updates on social media.
‘Classic emo frankie muniz sadpost,’ was the way one described it.
It’s tough always being in a neutral position, much like the character Malcolm from the show ‘Malcolm in the Middle,’ who became well-known for his role,” commented someone else.
Enthusiasts of the sitcom from the early 2000s, which was a family comedy, were thrilled to discover that Muniz and his fellow actors will be coming back to film more episodes for the series.
In a playful video shared on social media on December 13th, the actor, together with his TV guardians Bryan Cranston (age 68) and Jane Kaczmarek (age 69), revealed some exciting news.
The series, Malcolm in the Middle, is coming back! You can watch 4 fresh episodes of it exclusively on Disney Plus.
In the upcoming episodes, the storyline revolves around Malcolm and his daughter getting entangled in a whirlwind of family turmoil as they are summoned to attend Hal and Lois’ 40th wedding anniversary celebration.
According to Karey Burke, president of 20th Television, as reported by Variety, ‘Malcolm in the Middle significantly reshaped the comedy landscape on television when it first aired twenty years ago, by setting new standards for what comedy shows could accomplish.’
When Linwood Boomer proposed the idea of reuniting our beloved, albeit dysfunctional, family on screen, it sparked thoughts of no other series as timeless and impactful as this one. Gathering such a talented ensemble back together seemed like an unparalleled opportunity.
The initial series installments can be found on the streaming platform currently, however, a launch date for the reunion episodes is still unknown at this time.
