Andy Cohen playfully teased Kristi Noem’s husband, Bryon, in an Easter message posted on Instagram Threads on Friday.
The TV personality, 57, recently criticized Sarah Michelle Gellar for calling The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills uninteresting. She then shared a message aimed at ‘married men who support Donald Trump’ right before the holiday.
This post appears shortly after the Daily Mail reported that the former Homeland Security Secretary’s husband, Bryon, had shared revealing photos of himself online with performers in adult films, including pictures of him wearing prosthetic breasts and tight clothing.
Cohen posted on Threads, wishing a Happy Easter to his ‘tight-knit, married MAGA bros‘.
The Bravo host, known for his criticism of the Trump administration, also posted more about Noem on his Threads account.
Cohen reacted to the news about Kristi Noem’s husband on Tuesday by tweeting, ‘I definitely didn’t predict this!’
He posted additional messages, such as ‘Happy April Fool’s Day to Kristi Noem!’ and ‘How are all my happily married MAGA supporters doing today?!?’
Following the 2024 election when Donald Trump was elected president, I remember Cohen sharing a really interesting video. What struck me was its message of unity – and this was coming from someone who had been a very vocal supporter of Kamala Harris throughout the campaign. It was a classy move, showing he could put country before party, and I thought it really spoke volumes.
You know, as a parent, you never quite know what your kids will say! I remember one celebrity telling me about asking his five-year-old son for his thoughts on the election. The little guy’s response? He confidently declared, ‘Donald Trump winned!’ It was just the sweetest, most unfiltered take you could imagine.
Cohen said to his son with a gentle smile, ‘He did indeed. What are your thoughts on that? We’re proud of our country, aren’t we? Yes, we really are. We’ll keep going and make progress.’
On Tuesday, the Daily Mail released revealing messages and photos showing Bryon seemingly using balloons under his shirt to create the appearance of breasts.
Photos reveal the dad of three making a kissy face at the camera. One picture also shows him wearing tight-fitting green leggings.
Okay, so I heard back about those rumors, and honestly? Bryon didn’t say they’re false. He didn’t deny talking about, or even showing pictures of himself dressed as a woman. It’s… a lot to process, but it seems like it’s actually true! I knew there was something special about him!
The Daily Mail questioned Bryon about whether his insensitive remarks regarding his wife might have created a national security risk by making her vulnerable to blackmail.
I didn’t say anything that would suggest that, and I disagree with the second part of that statement,” Bryon responded.
Bryon sent his secret roster of online acquaintances at least $25,000 via Cash App and PayPal.
A representative for Noem stated that the family was shocked to learn about Bryon’s history of cross-dressing, and that his wife of 34 years is deeply upset.
Security professionals believe his questionable behavior could have made Noem vulnerable to blackmail while she served in Trump’s administration.
As governor, Noem led the state’s law enforcement and was responsible for protecting highly classified national security information.
She lost her job earlier this month after it was revealed she approved a controversial advertising campaign costing taxpayers $220 million.
Noem told lawmakers that the President had approved the advertisement to which he furiously denied.
According to multiple high-ranking sources within the Department of Homeland Security who spoke to the Daily Mail, Governor Noem’s awareness of Bryon’s online activity would have prevented her from getting top-secret security clearance. Officials were concerned that this knowledge could have made her vulnerable to blackmail by foreign powers.
‘I can vouch for the blackmail claim,’ one current official said.
Normally, this situation with a spouse would immediately disqualify someone from consideration for a national security position.
Noem and Bryon met in high school, married in 1992, and raised daughters Kassidy, 31, Kennedy, 29, and a son, Booker, 23.
A rep for Noem said in a statement to the New York Post on Tuesday: ‘Ms. Noem is devastated.
‘The family was blindsided by this, and they ask for privacy and prayers at the time.’
The former DHS secretary remains in government and is currently serving as Special Envoy for the Shield of the Americas – a newly created role focused on Western Hemisphere security.
