Naomi & Bianca Belair winning WWE tag titles creates interesting story
As a seasoned gamer of WWE storylines, I’ve seen my fair share of twists and turns. But this potential development between Bianca Belair, Naomi, and Jade Cargill has me intrigued like never before!
In the December 20th episode of WWE SmackDown, Bianca Belair and Naomi emerged victorious against Nia Jax and Candice LeRae in the main event. This victory officially made Naomi a co-champion of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Belair. As Jade Cargill is currently injured, this change offers an intriguing prospect for future plot development among these three women.
As I watched the thrilling match unfold, Corey Graves discussed Cargill’s injuries, hinting at an attack backstage. He mentioned that the case remains under investigation, leaving the identity of the culprit shrouded in mystery. It’s tempting to speculate that one of the villains from the SmackDown women’s division could be responsible, but what if the storyline veers off into uncharted territory instead?
Imagining a scenario where Naomi is the one who challenged Cargill, thereby creating an opening for herself to join Belair in their prominent roles within WWE. With Jade absent, it seems logical to assume that Belair would choose Naomi as her replacement to maintain their titles, given they’re collectively known as the “Big 3” of WWE. Since her return to the company, Naomi hasn’t held a championship, and this narrative could be developed to depict her as an envious friend yearning for her own chance to shine with the gold.
The situation for Cargill might grow more delicate as events unfold, especially if it’s revealed that Naomi is the assailant. This could lead to turning Belair against her too. It’s crucial for WWE main roster to develop more women’s storylines beyond title pictures, and a feud between Belair, Naomi, and Cargill would be an ideal choice. These three popular wrestlers have large fanbases who follow them regardless of titles. They can generate interest even without championship belts. Additionally, once the storyline ends, there’s potential to move each of them into individual title contests, then possibly revisit their feud in the future. This concept has a lot of long-term potential.
Supporters are hoping WWE will mix things up with their women’s division, and having Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, and Naomi engage in a major rivalry would be an excellent approach to showcase three of their most prominent figures. Winning the title on SmackDown could provide the ideal starting point for this captivating tale.
