Pregnant Lottie Tomlinson showcases her blossoming bump in stunning snap as she reveals due date and why she can’t spend Christmas day with her famous family
In pondering Lottie Tomlinson‘s journey, I am deeply moved by her strength and resilience. Her life has been a whirlwind of challenges, from losing her mother at a young age to stepping into a maternal role for her younger siblings. Yet, amidst all the struggles, she found the courage to persevere, putting her family first even when it meant sacrificing her own dreams and career.
Lottie Tomlinson shared a beautiful picture, highlighting her growing belly, hinting that her baby’s arrival is imminent within a few weeks.
Twenty-six-year-old Félicité Tomlinson, the younger sister of One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson, and her partner Lewis Burton, aged thirty-two, have already become parents to a two-year-old named Lucky. They are now eagerly awaiting the arrival of their upcoming daughter.
However, since she was nearly giving birth, Lottie shared on Instagram Stories that she couldn’t make the trip from London to Doncaster for Christmas Day with her family, which was a struggle for her to accept.
Lottie shared details about her pregnancy, including the name they’ve chosen for their baby, during a question-and-answer session.
When someone inquired with frustration, “When is this baby arriving?” using a disgruntled emoticon, the influencer responded: “I understand your impatience. She’s expected soon, so she’ll make her arrival when she’s good and ready.
Later on, Lottie posted a radiant family photo featuring her twin sisters Phoebe and Daisy, aged 20, following a question from another follower about whether she was planning to travel “up north” for Christmas.
She said: “I need to remain in London as my delivery date is imminent. It’s been challenging, but I’m looking forward to everyone visiting during the holiday season.
‘Next year I’ll be back up there with our baby girl’.
In July, Lottie shared a heartwarming post on Instagram revealing that she and her partner Lewis were expecting their second child together.
She looked glowing in the beach-side video as she showed off her growing bump in a white co-ord.
Lottie wrote, “We’re thrilled and grateful! Our family will expand next January as a new precious member arrives.
In November 2023, Lottie and Lewis became engaged. Lottie was swept off her feet when Lewis proposed to her in Paris, following three years of their romantic relationship.
When they made their proposal, the couple showed a video clip capturing the instant Lewis knelt down.
Lewis whisked away Lottie and their son, Lucky, on a weekend retreat, going above and beyond in adorning the hotel room with an elaborate setup, intending to propose romantically.
As an ardent admirer, I orchestrated a captivating trail adorned with crimson rose petals and flickering candles, intending to guide the radiant Lottie towards me. When she arrived, I dropped to one knee, my heart pounding in anticipation.
With their son present to witness the magical moment, Lewis pulled out a huge diamond ring.
Although she has recently been celebrating, Lottie admitted last month that becoming a mother for the first time hasn’t been easy and she’s still finding it hard to cope with the loss of her mother, Johannah, who passed away from leukemia in 2016.
The star shared with The Mail, “The most challenging aspect of becoming a mother for me has been not having my own mother here to share the experience.
In a difficult labor situation, I called out for my mother’s aid. Once my child was delivered, the realization that he wouldn’t be held by her added an additional layer of sorrow.
Whenever I encounter difficulties, like the struggles with breastfeeding, I preferred not to seek assistance from others.
In my situation, since I couldn’t turn to her for answers, I decided I had to figure things out on my own – a task that undeniably added more complexity to an already challenging time. Yet, in hindsight, perhaps my determination to tackle the situation alone was another manifestation of the grief I was experiencing.
Lottie mentioned that the strong urge to nurture, which she calls maternal instinct, led her to put her career aside and look after her siblings following their mother’s passing due to cancer.
Lottie decided to postpone assuming a maternal role for her five younger siblings: Félicité (age 16), Phoebe and Daisy (both 12), and the twins Doris and Ernie (aged two). This decision also involved her grandmother and their father, Dan.
At the age of 43, Lottie’s mother, Johannah Deakin, passed away due to leukemia, seven months after her diagnosis in 2016, which occurred when Lottie was only 18 years old.
Four years prior, Johannah’s and Lottie’s father, with whom they were estranged, separated. After their mother passed away, this event prompted them to return to Doncaster to live.
In the book Lucky Girl, Lottie explains her decision to return home: “I felt compelled to be there for my younger siblings. It was a natural response, something deeply rooted in how my mother raised us. We’re all quite maternal and care deeply for one another. My work held significance for me, but nothing surpasses the importance of family, especially since they needed me.
